@@IaMCdN1 i came here to check if this was said and I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I hope he has a microfiber cloth in his nice suit to wipe his prints LOL. Like, at car shows that's a big no no .
Ugly is the word This is 2023 and they still cant get tech loocking normal every one will notice you and this GOBS of a glasses. With two tails hanging off your ears. Unles syou wear a wig !
Did it bug anyone else how much he was leaning on and touching the prototype cars so disrespectful lol I would have stopped the recording and been like hey bud this is the only one that exists we have to wipe your grubby prints off this and leaning on a panel that she said was months old . I just don’t get the disrespect
They SHOULD be! Imagine playing Super Mario Maker 2 on one, at night, with headphones.😊 You'd get a lot of people curious and watching you play instead of watching tiktok, the clock, or paint dry.😅
Just keep looking at the screens pay no attention to what is going on about you just keep looking at the screen...........................................................................................................
OK no door handles is not good, why? what happens if all goes wrong and your locked inside? how does anyone on the outside get in? break the glass!?? NO bad idea.. NOW THAT SAID. i do love the look of no door handles, but the best approach to the idea is what the Mustang MachE has done. door handle grips above the seem line of the door body panels. So. door handles without readily seeing door handles in the design.
I saw absolutely nothing that impressed me. Nothing with any practicality. Only show. Is this what the human race has become? All show and no substance.
Media bar on the Afeela is interesting. Not sure people will use that for basic things like weather or game scores when they have an iPhone in their pocket.
yeah, it's like why would I want any of that unless I'm being a super commuter... around town for the day? I'm thinking about said errands for the day!
Next time, be a proper professional and do not touch the prototype, leaving your fat, smudgy, blurry, finger print. All caught on camera, that spoiled the moment. lol
Still waiting on glass in a car that is durable against break ins. How about glass in a car that can be broken from the inside for emergency escapes but extremely durable from the outside so thieves will have a hard time breaking from the outside?
haysss... i feel like it's really hard to make a perfect things... like what you said, that's a good idea... but I think it was from Inside Edition a news about a kid inside a car that was really struggling idk how, maybe because the heat etc because you know parents lock them up there while doing their thing... and a man broke the window to save the kid... because looks like the parents did not know that what they did was actually a hazard... so yeah if your idea becomes reality it would be **hard for a man to save someone, if a parents locked their kid inside just to buy something etc... but idk there just many things you could experiment so yeah I think mine is just an example that could still be fix
RE: the TCL glasses, it's good to see them pushing the technology but in their current form I don't think I would purchase them...they are just too large (super nerdy) and bulky looking. If I were TCL I would probably first focus on a phone assisted/connected glasses (via a USB cable) and perfect the key glass features and apps working first until the miniaturization of electronics, processor efficiency and battery technology supports less bulky glasses. In the mean create a SDK that the development community could use to develop useful applications. Once that is in place and the hardware has improved then try developing standalone glasses. I do like the fact that the glasses can take pictures. I know some people don't like that because of "privacy violations" but I still think the ability to take pictures and videos along with navigation is probably the most useful thing with these "Smart Glasses". I'm not sold on playing music on them.
Good suggestions. Hopefully, the developer of this invention comes across your comment and considers undertaking some of the things you have suggested. 😊👏
Wireless connection wouldn’t be the hardest thing. All we’re waiting for is the electronic components to shrink (which to the size of glasses, will be a very long time).
8:30 You can tell the way Dr. Stella’s eyes focus and how she uses her hands when talking about the BMW tech that she loves what she’s doing 💯💯 Dr. No doubt 🤙🏾👊🏾
Decided to take a look back on CES 2023 to get me hyped for this year coming up soon. Scientists have taken technology another step further. Specifically, the ones at 3M, can't wait to check them out this year and get the opportunity to listen to their plans for 2024.
I wish AFEELA could have done the interior displays for productivity purposes. Who would want to buy an super-expensive car to play video games and watch movies inside? They could have made an new OS for highly productive businessmen and program the screen to display different reports, files, documents and even images and videos that would be relevant to what they are doing. Now that would have made this car truly for millionaires and billionaires. They still have to rely on their phone whenever they are travelling since a laptop is just too much for a car. This could have the potential to be the desired car for highly productive individuals where they can choose to continue their work while travelling and instead of hindering their productivity, actually enhanced it. Thats the only scenario where autonomous cars seem useful to me. So, that we can get more done while travelling instead of watching cheap entertainment by purchasing their subscription. That way, even if the car was slower it would not be a problem as long as the safety was guaranteed. And the lack of door handles on the outside to open the car doors gave me "Evil AI" vibes where they could lock you in your car with a software update. Concerning thought.
This man wants his finger oil on every piece of technology he can.. Can't imagine what the presenters were thinking while he leaned on all the concept cars 😭
If I ever win lotto I'll be on the waiting list for the 'AFEELA' Honda SONY car. I can just imagine how many spoilt rich kids that'll be demanding Mum & Dad get one come 2026.
I really don't see the BMW I Vision D ever coming to the consumer market. Most countries already have laws prohibiting cars from being painted in ½ & ½ color paterns, etc. Just ask yourself why practically 100% of all cars we see on a day to day basis are painted uniformly (excluding racing stripes). In the future, this BMW could be used to say, rob a bank. You would drive in in a solid black configuration, rob the bank ( or shoot someone, etc), and then flee the scene in an all cherry red configuration. I don't see how this would ever be street legal in the future, unless the laws change.
Imagine watching back your 5th birthday, through your own eyes. Soon youll be able to record your whole life to hard disc. Cameras so small that you cant tell theyre wearing them will discretely record EVERYTHING you see, every day to a hard disc at home. like go-pros do now, but so tiny you forget your even wearing them and no-one notices them. Your Whole life, recorded. . Scary.
Copyright software and brand infringement Smart Watch brand patent, these are Smart Glasses owned by patent 2013, ip infringements all over the show including Smart Watch brand on his left wrist total fraud and mass plagiarism continues...
The interview with mask on. Stupid. When they show demos on TV's then when they get it home..."Meh!" But the colour material will be used on Military tech. Imagine Battleships or tanks phasing out like predator!
The glasses would be far better if the technology was placed in separate object, such as a phone and connected via a wire or bluetooth. Bulky glasses that look like Elton John circa 1970 are not wearable. Glasses on the face should be light to wear not heavy,
We need more engineers. I think we're not pushing tech enough lately, or we just found ourselves in a point that we can't advance anymore because of physics limitations, like in miniaturization.
@@jidofole It's always been financial, if a product doesn't make money it fails. Problem is, we don't see many breakthroughs and something that is practical. Smartphones and tvs are slowly getting better but thats it.
Nothings really changed since 2012. The tech is all the same ofc with refinements. Though you may argue AI is in its commercial infancy. That could be the start of the next leap in tech we may see exciting new refreshing things not too far from now
There’s no lack of smart engineers. Company’s have to try and continually delivers profits to stockholders. So product delivery is paramount. Ideas are patented years before many products hit the streets. Why sale a new iteration if you know you make another billion off the old? Not to mention manufacturing. Entire assembly lines have to be changed, material supply chains negotiated. It’s a huge orchestration. I’ve said enough and yet there a lot more to be added.
pretty sure linus said using oled for gaming is like lighting money on fire...why would someone buy the odyssey OLED for gaming if it's just going to have burn in after 4 years?
I wouldn't have a game score on the front of that Sony car. More like it would read, bra, move to the right please, I'm coming through. Or something like that. ;)
