I am beyond embarrassed that I went to this lousy school. I attended in 1996-98 when they were closing in on their highest years of enrollment. I was one of the many students that access to very few professors or assistants. They just could not handle all the students. So what was their solution? For example - I was told to buy a cassette player for my legal research and writing class. I was instructed to go to the library and request a tape set (they were 10 tapes in all) that would walk me through how to do research?!?! The professor was only part-time and would only allow ONE appointment per semester to meet with any student. If you had questions, you were on your own. And don't ask the librarian either. My absolute favorite memory was finding out that the library had signed out all the cassettes and that I would have to come back another day. This was a joke.
I know people who went there and withdrew after week one. The Professor talked more about their husband and kids than the subject matter. They make you take several courses during L1 that you must pass and get zero credit for. If people went there and failed and then went to a different law school and received straight A s, I think I know the problem.
You sound dumb and jealous. I know Cooley Law graduates who run their own successful law firms or work for government agencies. Also you can work in other fields with a law degree. Doesn’t matter where you go, everyone has to pass the same bar exam.
