This info may be true, but it is pretty much redundant for me. I clean my desk where I keep my laptop every single day and I make sure there is no dust, even on the table, my laptop, it's accessories, and even in the room. So the fact that cooling pads push in dust is pretty much useless for me. I've been using a cooling pad for my laptops for years. I got a new laptop recently in the sale, and before that, my previous laptop lasted me 8 years, and I used a cooling pad on it for 4+years, and I safely say that because I kept everything clean, my thermal management by the laptop was good. So if you are already using a cooling pad, don't worry, just make sure to keep your laptop setup and desk and even the room clean and dust free

What a blunt argument and a clickbait. See if you are putting your laptop on a bed or some other place where there is dust, it doesn't matter weather you have a cooling pad or not the inbuilt fans will suck the dust and will create the blockages you need to clean. In fact using these cooling pads may actually benifit because it keeps your laptop away from the ground where there is dust lying and the cooling pad fans are at a height hence they pull air from all sides not only from below. Where as laptop when not using will cooling pads, will be sitting very close to the dust area and will be pulling more dust.

first inbuild fans not suck the air from out side they exhaust fans throwing hot air from inside to outside of laptops from outside thats why laptops air vents throw hot air, and now a days cooling pad also works same as exhaust fans so no issue of dust coming inside the laptop

Bro not every kinda laptops contain upward air flow exhaust system. Most of the newest models do focus on sideway ventilation system (left/right) That means the turbos inhales the cold air from out and release the internal hot air out (sideways) So no matter if you put a cooling pad underneath your laptop Even it helps the bottom of your laptop to stay cool and to keep the ventilated air cold even.

Guys if you are planning to buy cooling pads, go for it.... This whole discussion doesn't apply to you if you stay in a room free from dust and cleaned daily....Anyhow if you use your laptop normally its internal fans will also suck in dust if your room or desk is dusty. And yes if you are using the laptop in an Air Conditioned room then there is totally no need of a cooling pad just keep your laptop at height don't block the bottom air vents thats it. Rest be assured using a cooling pad will anytime be beneficial for you. And for better thermal life yes you need to do maintenance of your laptop as this guys said in his video.

True, also though you could switch direction of the fans on the cooling pad so instead of pushing air into the laptop vents it pulls air out. I did that while back and recently re-pasted my old laptop for testing purposes --- turns out there was very little dust accumulated inside (in contrast to back when the fans were positioned as normal, with pushing air in, much more dust that way).

@@subhambishi3691 No my brother cooling pads dont suck hot air it just throws air upwards on the bottom side of the Laptop hence it will suck air with dust from bottom and throw it on the laptop from the bottom and your laptop fans will suck this air and get dusty from within....& Dust is dust you cannot block it 100%. It will keep coming from everywhere around, even if you dont use a cooling pad.

@@Nomadically but thats risky it will badly affect the cooling efficiency of the laptop fans as the laptop is designed to pull air from bottom and throw it out from the sides and top of the laptop (if your laptop is designed that way). But if your laptop fans throw air down then its not an issue as such, it will provide necessary heat desipation. Still the top vents and side vents will collect dust along time....Just like the HP Z book series.

Seems like this video was made just for views by making a relatively clickbait title, in reality the same can be said about the internal cooling systems of the laptop as well. since they move air too they are also susceptible to accumulating dust in the fans. So the moral of the story is - clean your laptop from time to time and buy a good cooling pad. There are bigger creators who have shown that a cooling pad can reduce the laptop temperatures anywhere from 8 degrees to 15 degrees. Don't trust these creators who just sit in front of the camera and say whatever they please without showing any test results or data.

Isliye main ceiling fan ke cardboard dabba ke upar laptop rakhke chalata hoon. Ghadi bhar bhi heat hua to off kar deta hoon aur jab laptop cool hua to kuch time chhoda phir use kiya. Aapko jugaadu video pe photo bhi submit kiya tha Mr Funny Games, wo main hi hoon. Usse mujhko acha height bhi provide hota hai aur kaam jo hona hai so to hoga hi.

IETS GT500 laptop cooling pad as well as many other laptop cooling pads have filters to prevent dust buildup that are washable and reusable, CHEAP laptop cooling pads don’t. You get what you pay for, but don’t spread one side of the story, overheating your laptop will kill it within two years of gaming. SSD cards aren’t supposed to be over 150 degrees F so do as you please but I recommend not listening to this guy

Stupidest Argument I have Heard. Laptops Will heat on high Gpu usage no matter what rarely related to reasons told. As far as dust is considered I clean my device every few months by opening the back panel. If you don't want to do yourself you can take it to a local computer shop they clean it for Rs.100-200. About the laptop you told its a Asus ROG which has some of the worst thermals in my experience.
