It went well, and I was given a challenge: show em what I got. yap yap yap so I play for 45 minutes and made a great first impression. energy is high, I'm actually like...living this dream? after closing,m Franko links me up with a promoter named Max Michaels.. I meet up with him the following week and when I say my name he went "no fucking shit, are you Perry's son?" I confirmed it with him and sure shit, Max promoted my dad's industrial band in the 90s and 2000s. So I was fucking in! I just had to prep my first show and then the following week, I was spinning Resurgence Goth Night at Myth Nightclub. but I needed him to be there. I spun for a year almost every week. I can now say I have that void filled. the shit that happens when a dad leaves is wild.
