TIPS AND TRICKS: If you tap the home button while watching a RU-vid video, it will enable picture in picture. This allows you to navigate through other apps while listening and watching a RU-vid video. You can even move the small screen in different areas across your display. You can also use the singer John Legend's voice as your Google Assistant whenever you say "OK Google." Open your Google settings, access the Google Assistant setting, and then tap Assistant, tap Assistant voice, you will see a picture of John Legend. Select his voice model.
I've had this phone for about a month and, for the most part, I love it. It has a feature set that easily competes with phones costing double or more. Great battery life. Expandable storage out of the box, so plenty of room for apps. But after about 48 hours of operation, it suddenly slows to a crawl and becomes unusable. I've tried several potential fixes, including clearing all app caches, and even a factory reset. Nothing helps, except a quick reboot (press the power button, then tap "reboot"). That takes just seconds, and fixes the problem -- for another day or two. If Coolpad can address this, and push out a fix, they will have a real winner. I hope that happens soon.
Is it possible you got a lemon?have you considered taking back and exchanging for new one? Ive used lgstylo since it came out and time to upgrade...i was seriously considering cool pad so will look back to see if things got better for you ...TY was going to buyin next few days but will holdout to see how you did
@@Graymorg I don't think there's anything wrong with the phone's hardware. It's more likely a software bug. I'm trying a different launcher (Microsoft Launcher) to see if that makes any difference. I'll report back. (I also upgraded from a Stylo 2, and the Coolpad Legacy is *much* faster and more capable -- when it's working properly. Also, I'm using the phone with adoptable storage. I don't know if the problem would occur with the SD card formatted as portable storage (or without any SD card at all).
Unfortunately, the same problem happens with the Microsoft Launcher. Like clockwork, after about 48 hours of uptime, the phone became unresponsive and had to be rebooted. Too bad Coolpad released this phone with this defect. Except for this, it's a great phone.
@@rkershenbaum3 I had the same problem yesterday after getting the Coolpad legacy Saturday. It was very very slow and unresponsive very annoying... I tired everything I could think of and I went to get help from web sites I did clearing cache, I had to find it first. One site said restart your phone and I felt hopeless by then but after it restarted back it's being working very well...I hope it doesn't happen again. But now I know..
+H2TechVideos _I'm not seeing that particular "gallery no ads" app in the playstore list. Has it been removed? I was going to search for the developer by pausing your vid @ __10:55__ but I can't quite read it. It looks like the devs name says "gallery new" ? but I'm not sure._
Ive been having an issue where the touch screen stops working randomly and i have to close the phone and open it again. Do you know if there is a possible fix?
I was thinking about getting this phone but all I'm reading is questions and complaints 🤔🤦 which of course makes my decision a lot harder maybe I should go with my original thought SAMSUNG A20. All I want is a BIG phone that I could use through Metro
I just got mine through Boost Mobile and really loving it already! I love the bigger screen, that and the camera were my main reasons for getting it, the pics come out really nice, clear and nice bold colors, still getting the hang of it but I'd recommend it!!😁

I have been trying to copy a screen and it wasn't working.. so I googled and found this video.. you were very good at explaining and showing.. you asked what else we would like to know and I haven't googled it at all.. my kids send a lot of videos and pictures edited and all kids of fun things... If you have mobile network and Wifi setup, will it automatically switch to use only Wifi when available? Or will it continue to use mobile data? Or do you have to manually turn off Mobile Data to force it to use Wifi only?
How do I take pictures while I'm recording video? My last phone I would start recording and then tap the camera icon and it would take pictures while recording.
This was the worst phone I ever had. Constant random problems corrupted, sd cards. Exteamly slow internet. It reset once and didn't come back on for 2 days. Once the SD card was corrupted and the phone wouldn't give me a option t download to internal storage. So I couldn't download anything even though I had space because the SD card could not be found. And when I added a new card, it still said it couldn't find the SD card. Even though it was available in the settings.

@@TheRoddrickblow I think there can be a way to make your pictures picture perfect💯...a adjustment to make it lighter or darker etc.....I don't know how it works out...I saw it on a video a while ago. ....I hope this help...just search for it...
None just cast it from the phone to the tv with the cast button. Unless u don't have a Chromecast then yeah you'll need hdmi to usb c connection adapter
in my opinion this phone is absolutly trash it always goes unresponsive to touch and only works after turning it off and back on this started happening abt 4 weeks after i got it
Hi nice video my text is stuck on white and green bubbles in conversation with a white background while the theme works nice for making the keyboard look cool it's not affecting the conversation bubbles text or backdrop. We're is this setting located I've looked everywhere thanks.

I actually have this phone and when I first seen this device it was huge now it looks small,, so when I pull it out pocket my friends be so wow'D of my tablet pad phone.... Makes me feel good... But yet my phone is getting way too much compliments!

Gallery! Yes yes yes lol. Also, have you had any issues with crashing / freezing. My phone is four months old, up to date and has freezing / app crashes often. Whether it be messaging, using the browser etc.
I have a problem with my Coolpad. When I have a call coming in I can't swipe down and end the call. Is there any way to change the answer and end keys on the Coolpad?
So my alarm on my Coolpad isn't working anymore unless it's set for only hour and forty-five minutes or less away. The difference on the screen is there is a little dismiss icon on the drop down of the alarm set within the hour and forty-five minutes time range and it disappears for any alarm set further out.. but says it's set and when that time comes it doesn't go off?? Any tips or solutions??
Also hold down the square [ ] on the right side of the circle an it will let you run two screens at once just in case you need to enter info from one page to the other and copy an paste cannot quite work ,

I don't need tips and tricks. I just need some basic instructions that this phone does all by itself without you knowing it. (I hate it). When I go into sounds and just want to turn the media sound down by itself, the ringer sound automatically goes down right along with it too. I do not want the ringer sound to go down. Then I have to manually turn the ringer sound back up and everyone in the room hears my phone ringing. And sometimes the phone notifications goes off all by itself without you knowing it. I have missed calls already because of this. What I s going on with that and how may I stop that? Thank you.
wallpaper you like or one from your phone and on the wallaper app you can make it your home or lock screen, you can now have 2 different wallpapers hope it helps :)

A regular USB charger no. The charger is called "Type C" charger. It's the new USB charger some Android's are using now. Its bigger than a regular USB charger
@@pamelakindle8795 A20. Now that Iv'e had the Coolpad awhile, its a piece of shit. It slows down and just does random annoying shit like locking up. It also can't read my memory cards. Just cheap and bugged out. Avoid.
to do a split screen also you just double tap the square icon in the right corner of your screen I don't know what it's called next to the home button just so you know on a Coolpad
On a vid I was watching said if you go under display..advance..and click dark mode. My Coolpad is from boost and I can't seem to find that under my display settings any help? Ty
