This was an excellent review man! I would love to get my hands on one of these but the price makes me want to die inside. I can understand a little over $1,000 but 1,600,00 is kind of outrageous. But if I want one day I'm going to have to shovel out a pretty penny for it. Also when I saw your Clarabel was broken I thought I wanted to have a mini heart attack but I'm glad you were able to fix her. Keep up the good work man I would give anything for a model replica of Thomas.
It would be fantastic if they also made the other characters like Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, and Toby. How to pay for that is admittedly a whole different question, but it would be great if there was the opportunity to buy such great models. Unfortunately, Bachmann G Scale has reached its limit so far...
Question, will that fit an actual gauge one track? Also, I bet some people would try and motorize the prop replica. Not that it would take save money but it would save a bunch of time trying to 3-D print everything. Simple as that you won’t even have to 3-D print anything.
I don't really get where some of the hate comes for this thing. Sure, it may not be 100% accurate to the television series. However, I think if you're just like a casual fan of Thomas and aren't into or have the skills or time or resources to make replicas of the props yourself, I'd say this is at least decent to have displayed on your shelf somewhere.
Honestly i think the main reason is for the steep price tag which would turn away many buyers even though its distributed among licensors to get a profit
