I guess I'm disappointed there's feed on the ground. We would keep our feeders in the run. Our problem is wild birds coming in helping themselves & we'd like to find something to prevent drawing in the wild birds.

mine is up very tall but the chickens are still spilling an amazing amount of feed from it.

I'd like to see it with pellets as it still seems wasteful with the mash. A rim to keep the mash it grains inside would limit the waste.

Any advice on getting chickens to eat from it? Mine are not buying it.

Mine figured it out within an hour or so. Maybe some feed in the ground at the base?
