I have said this before. It doesn’t matter how talented or athletic a team is. We have seen it happen to Kentucky in recent seasons. People have high expectations, but they didn’t far in the NCAA TOURNAMENT.
@@Dannyj0534Fans will be fanatics but the roster is the roster. You’ll not rolling up into Cameron THIS year with RJ and the Twelve Dwarfs. Not when Duke has 11 guys 6’5” and above, youths with crazy ceilings and experienced, physical, two way players in the post, on the wing and in the backcourt.
I've got a lot of anxiety about next year's team- the expectations are going to be sky-high on levels with 2018-19. What if they under-achieve? What if it's another double-digit loss season with another sweep to UNC? What happens to Scheyer if this team gets bounced in the regional semi-final? I don't think there's been pressure on one single player in program history as there is with Cooper Flagg, the most hyped player ever to come into the program... think about that.. Laettner, Hill, Hurley, Dawkins, Redick, Battier, JWilliams, Parker, Okafor, Ingram, Tatum, Bagley, Zion, RJ, Paolo, Boozer, Rivers, Irving, Singler, Ferry.. buckle up.
Dude you worried for nothing. First of all, what double digit loss season? Scheyer is 27-9 both seasons with an ACC tournament championship and Elite Eight run with teams far less talented than this one. Secondly, Duke got swept by UNC because they had no center. This year, the roles are reversed. Now it’s UNC that’s forced to play small ball because they got no center, and it’s Duke that’s loaded in the post. Bacot was NOT an NBA player, but 7’2” Maluach is a projected top three pick because he’s an elite rim protector that effortlessly strokes three pointers. Remember two years ago when Duke had Lively in the paint? What happened.. UNC got swept! So worry about something else - Scheyer has the troops and will supersede everything he’s accomplished in his first two seasons.
Mine is very different: It’s Maluach, Brown, Flagg, James and Proctor. Off the bench: Foster, Knueppel, Evans, Gillis, Ngongba and Harris. WOW what a team!!!!!
Darren Harris is one of the best shooters in the rising freshman class and Mason Gillus from Purdue shot 47% from three last season. Duke is loaded from beyond the arc.
@@lightitupsportsalso #7 kon knueppel shot 50% from 3 in eybl last year, Tyrese proctor and Caleb foster are fluent from 3 and look at copper Flagg he jus made 3 off the dribble int this scrimmage alone
