You give the best detailed demos on pedals. I’ve purchased at least 2 pedals just because of you haha this pedal is one of them. Thank you for all you do.
Dang, I wish people would stop talking about this pedal so the price would come down and I can finally get my hands on one. I've been needing one for so long now.
This is an amazing pedal!! Thanks Mark!! I’m glad I only found you a year ago there are still so many of your videos I’ve yet to dive into, it’s just nice to be able to binge on them at late nights
I have absolutely no knowledge of music and all these things, but you have such a calming voice and the music sounds so nice, I love it! This video is so nice to have playing in the background while working, it's super relaxing.
Hey mark. Awesome demo. The video prompted an insta-order for the v2. Was looking at these for so long, and the v2 is the perfect time to order one at a sensible price. Without being too soppy - that beautiful plaintive tone (Your “dry” signal) along with the Gen Loss evoked some serious emotions! Cheers sir!
This is magic!I Thank you.. I had a quick question.. Do you always run your guitar through a DI then into your soundcard for recording and performance? What are the benefits of doing this rather than straight into the soundcard? Cheers
The first loop sound is amazing. The combination of generation loss and microcosm is so good! what do you think of the new chase bliss coming !!? You made me want to order a microcosm but I'm already waiting for lvx from Meris
I love this guitar. Needs a little bit of a set up (I am the second owner in its 49 years of existence, I imagine it hasn’t seen a shop in nearly as long) but even in its current state it’s got the magic.
Hi, could you let me know how you did. the repetitive bass Sound at the beginning of the video. It sounds awesome. Did you use the microcosm? Please let me know. Thanks a lot in advance! Best, Michael
Great demo thanx! WOW! I had no clue about this drop.NO MASTER VOLUME WHY???????That hold function is RAD! The random pitch modulation seems to take heavily from the Shallow Water. All in all, this sounds great but not the ENTIRE redesign I had been hearing rumors about. The bypass dry signal seems to be clearer than some of his other pedals but its hard to tell from video. The chorus sounds seems heavily influenced by the CBA GenLoss chorus sound, which makes sense. I definitely want to try one but I'm not as swept away as I thought i'd be.
Wet volume and dry volume are both there, unsure why you'd need a master, personally. I love the random pitch mod on the shallow water but find that they both approach it very differently including the sloped shape of the Shallow Water vs the smoother form here.
Totally different applications for me. I don’t typically use the SW for its modulation alone. I love it’s triggered filter gate, which isn’t something this does. I use the Gen loss for lofi texture more than chorus as well, meaning that the remotely “shared ground” these have isn’t the reason I am picking either of them
so what does it do exactly? I can't tell from demos because the sound is so wet already....need a stark, dry guitar-to-pedal-to- pc audio interface sound with the pedal toggled on and off to hear the before and after of ONLY the effect.
Absolute dream Pedalboard. I'm really hoping Bitcoin continues to play out for me, cause there's some tasty items here. Love seeing the Iridium there as well. I think it has been a bit of an overlooked classic.
This pedal is one I have been waiting years to get, but I’m loving your clean tone! Can you run through the more specific types of reverb/delay choices for this?
Went after some pretty standard sounds that would stay out of the way of the nuance of the Gen loss. Cloud on the big sky with only around 3 seconds of decay and mix around 30%. Volante tape set nice and subtle as well. Just there to “fill out” the guitar mix.
@@zaffrolumpkins He oversold by 80+ units. But he made an instagram post asking for volunteers to wait untill the next batch, and more than enough people volunteered, so it's all good.
