As a couple that has twins, we have to wait until they go to sleep every night to play a game. We set it up the day before so it's out and ready, and just jump in right away. Congrats and enjoy!

Great video as always! Would it possible for you guys to do a Boardgame collection tour type video? Not necessarily something that talks about all your games - could just be your favourites, most played games, to-go games or games you often play with friends/family. I'd love to see your entire collection and how it's organised!

This game looks like it would benefit from a few more rounds. It seems like when you finally get to the cool stuff you only get to use it once. 2 more rounds would be a great addition.

Love all your videos, even when I don't much care for the game itself. This game looks pretty awesome though. I will say though, I miss the random but linked quote you used to put on your black letter board that were chosen for each game. So happy to see the videos coming back.

Can you place ALL your tiles during income phase? I don't have the game yet (expecting), but that seems different from the Heavy Cardboard playthrough at the start.

Thanks for this beautiful play through as usual I could say. I like following your plays so much :). I was looking at this one and I was wondering if I misread the rules : At 8min55 a ruin's tile not adjacent was taken. Isn'it an illegal moves ? At 40min10, you use the money directly from the market and I believe that is forbidden. You have enough room left in your storage to stock money as a free action so it has no impact but it s perhaps better for viewer to see that taking directly from the market is not allowed. Thanks again for the excellent content you provide ! ps : I havn't seen you use the action of the log book token you got from reaching the bay water space (perhaps was it outside camera view ? )

I’m afraid Frances couldn’t take that ruin at 9:00; IIRC you can only pick up ruins adjacent to discovered hexes (i.e. tiles placed). She could only take either the central one or the bottom one (on the coast)

Thanks for the review. Seems like there is a LOT going on in this game, so many different moving parts, but not many actions to interact with the game. You got to round 3/5 and hadn't even used all of the mechanics. Everything seems really expensive to pull off. Struggling to see how in a game anyone would be able to get two boats let alone 5 if even the first one is so expensive - it took Francis 3 turns to even get to the point where she could get one out (and ultimately didn't!) It took the last round to get the first square guy out (and getting 3,4 or 5 of a thing for the bonus scoring it enables seems really hard), and it took a combo of that plus a bunch of other stuff to get a single medium building out (which did nothing). Seems like moving ships round the outside is the most important thing. I was on the fence about getting this, but after seeing it in play I think it's a pass

I called this months ago. I remember the responses quite well in a different chat. It was very clear that Francis's appearance was gaining weight. And fast. She was clearly pregnant. This happens a lot amongst gamers.
