I hope Cooper gets nominated for an Emmy! While I enjoyed the new Monsters season, it sucks that it had a lot of exaggerated points that apparently were not true, but Cooper’s performance in the entire 5th episode was one of the best acting I’ve seen this year.

I've seen earlier interview with Nicholas when he was in General Hospital and he seems really different here! The other interviews he's smiling and very kind, but for the press for this show he's been pretty quiet and I'm not sure if it's because of the nature of the show, the backlash, or he's just not used to the fame but I wouldn't judge him for this as he's tended to be sweeter before!

While I found the series grossly inaccurate and disrespectful to the real case, I'm glad that Cooper empathizes with Erik and Lyle and the traumatic experiences they went through. I'm glad that Cooper reached out to the brothers in person and I wholeheartedly agree with him that they deserve to be paroled, as he said in another interview

Tammi was in her forties and Erik was in his 20’s when she targeted him. There is a huge age gap. I think Erik married his mother because Tammi looks like Kitty and Tammi was married to a pedophiler named Chuck Saccoman who was sleeping with Tammi’s older daughter and she said she suspected it but did not say anything just like Kitty who was married to a pedo named Jose and she knew Jose was sleeping with their older son. See the similarities.

I think what a lot of the viewers fail to realize is that yes, it's not portraying the characters in a bad light...but SEVERAL different lights. The show allows you to see many different perspectives from various people while the actors play out every scenario. It's shining a light on how confusing the case was for all people involved. I think Ryan did a really good job sharing many different perspectives which people seem to have missed. They played out the bad guys, the good guys and everything in between. It was left to the viewers to see what they wanted to see and to take away what the viewer believed.

People need to leave Nicholas alone. Stop judging him. He’s getting a lot of hate and it’s probably all super overwhelming. He did an AMAZING job as an actor. If anyone is mad, I think that anger should be directed towards Ryan Murphy the director, not the actor who was just doing their job.

Some of you guys priorities are in the wrong place, lol. Nicholas was literally posting fun behind the scenes photos and reposting articles with the name “How he became a monster” and has been treating this show and role very light hearted and non chalant as if Lyle and Erik aren’t suffering real life consequences over the irresponsible writing of Ryan and the lack of accountability the cast (apart from Cooper, including Nicholas Chavez) is taking. People are right to criticize the casts irresponsible statements pertaining their roles. This wasn’t a normal show, these actors were playing real life people who are still alive today, who have condemned the show themselves. Cooper has enough of a backbone to stand with Erik and Lyle, it’s clear the rest of the cast isn’t as interested in that whether it’s because of genuine disinterest or because they have future projects, your morals should come before protecting Ryan Murphy or whatever he has to offer. Harassing any of the actors isn’t okay, neither is making disingenuous characterizations based on how they look or may seem. But don’t let trolls take away from the real criticism Ryan Murphy and this whole production have received, Lyle and Eriks family condemned the show and everyone involved for a reason.
