one of the best parts of karmakut ARMA vids to me is the contextual breakdowns / animated maps of troop and asset mobilization, and providing multiple views on the battlefield and to the skies above. the raw gameplay is decent, but the added elements of context have made some of the vids a real cinematic treat
I like the RAW but adding the Chapters can make it easier to navigate. The imbedded Captions/Comments are AWESOME! Besides, watching someone just running/flying/driving around can get a bit monotonous... Really enjoy these,
Love the raw footage, It feels like im watching one of your streams again. I used to watch the liberation streams all the time and dynamic direction ones. Looking forward to more raw footage!
I love the usual KOG PVP videos but this just feels like a stream VOD and not a youtube video with actual production behind... loved the old style tho!
I love the content. I don't have the game, but I watch all the videos by karma. The grare cleaner than I have ever seen almost a different presentation. What do you think
From a content perspective, gotta say that the different POVs are better. Cool to see your perspective, but, the last 15 mins of the video was basically comms and watching you run from left to right behind the building. I felt completely left behind on what i was supposed to be seeing each time you peeked.
I just got ARMA 3 and is it still playable without getting the shit load of DLC on top of the main game? Because idk if I can justify to myself dropping that much money on a game as old (and half broken) as ARMA 3.
your editing needs work, too much time just you running around pretty much doing nothing, I mean we all like the tactical feel but I stopped watching b/c your video are too long with too much down time, better editing to get more action would be a game changer.
Most of his videos are a lot more cinematic and edited, but as he said in the start of the video, he decided to keep this one mostly RAW to provide a bit more immersion. However, a real OP always has a lot of walking or sitting around. That's how it happens in the real world. Even the edited videos are gonna have some of that, so if you aren't able to retain your attention for the sake of enjoying the realistic and strategic experience his videos put on display, then the milsim content just may not be for you. I highly recommend his small unit tactics videos, like when he takes stacks into Tarkov raids, as those are a lot more action packed since a small stack is usually face-first into contact.
I like the RAW, but the cinematics are one of a kind. I know that would probably be a lot of extra work, but could you maybe release a raw version of just yourself and maybe a few overview shots _and_ the usual cinematics for these large events?
I am appreciating how well this group conducts operations in such a coordinated way. Terrific staging of the AO and I appreciate the coordinated fallback of the entire mechanized unit to the Strykers to mobilize. Very orderly and not something you'll see in most multiplayer experiences.
you guys NEED to change the sound replacements in your modpack, some guns sound muted and terrible and others are loud and punchy, i recommend AMZ since its pretty much just squad sounds
