Vernon Broughton and Alfred Collins is going to dominate this season.

People just assume our D line will take a step back but those are just causal fans. We are going to be way better at edge. And we should still be able to stop the run. Our D line will be good enough to lead us where we want to be. It'll come down to if our offense stalls out or not.

We gotta get some 5 star DT studs in the next few years to make sure the Defense will be Elite, if we want to compete and win the SEC.

1. I wish Coach Flood had mentioned Trevor Goosby. I have long been hopeful that Goosby would seamlessly step in and replace Kelvin Banks at Left Tackle next season. As good as Banks is, I personally think Goosby has the size, length, and strength to replace Banks and not create a big difference at the position. 2. Hayden Conner may barely be hanging onto his starting Left Guard position, and Cole Hutson is fighting to unseat a very good Right Guard in Devon Campbell. Considering that, I would think allowing Daniel Cruz to focus on Center, and Conner and Hutson to focus on their specific Guard positions would benefit them and the Offensive Line more. 3. With Texas losing two All American Defensive Tackles, the Linebackers will absolutely have to do a great job of shedding blocks. I think the Linebackers will have less freedom from taking on Centers and Guards than they did last season. 4. Considering Jahdae Barron has started the last two seasons, and Jaylon Guilbeau has been in the program three years now, I would think they both would be perfect options to communicate the defense to. I think their position on the field would benefit them communicating to all three levels of the defense, also. 5. I really wish both Barryn Sorrell and Ethan Burke were a well muscled 270 pounds. Sorrell is very close to that. If they both were that weight, they could rotate at Strongside Defensive End, along with Justice Finkley. 6. That would allow Trey Moore, Colton Vasek, and Colin Simmons to rotate at Weakside Defensive End. I will say, just like I think Sorrell, Burke, and Finkley need to be at least very close to 270, if not that weight, the Weakside Defensive Ends need to be at least close to 255. The Weakside Defensive Ends need to be around that weight in order to take on Left Tackles and support the edge. 7. Bert Auburn made roughly 80 percent of his field goals as a Sophomore. He made roughly 84 percent last season as a Junior. I hope he makes closer to 90 percent this season as a Senior. That should earn Auburn All American this season, even if he goes from making 29 field goals which he did last season to closer to 20 this season. 8. Gunner Helm, Amari Niblack, and Jordan Washington could honestly be the nation's best Tight End Room, and that does not even include Juan Davis, and the two 2023 Tight Ends. "Hook Em"

Juan Davis blocking in the A-gap? What does this even mean? You don't want him blocking in-line but he's great in the a-gap against the biggest, meanest humans on that side of the ball?
