Could this "coosa" board be used to build the WHOLE boat? I see a lot of guys building boats out of plywood, and am thinking of making one myself! But, i worry the plywood would be subject to rot in a short time!

you certainly could, you'd be restricted by the lack of flex in the coosa, also VERY cost prohibitive.

Could you cut it on a table saw? And if so, what blade would you recommend? Bc that fiberglass in the board insta dulled my reg blade!

Hey there JC! Coosa can most certainly be cut on a table saw. The size of the blade will be dependent on what you are doing, but it is recommended that you use a carbide blade as the material is very strong. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

if you cut this in any way shape or form, keep the dust off and out of you or you're going to have a serious case of the itchies.

Does it work as as a bare decking material? ie is it slick when wet? splinter risk to bare feet?

Coosa board would not be a good material for bare decking as it has fiberglass pieces within it for structure and is very coarse (almost like volcanic rock). It would not necessarily be slick when wet, but you would want to put some type of material over it for sure. Please let us know if you have any other questions we can help answer for you!

This material needs better promotion. Looks like excellent stuff.

Is it flexible? Was thinking of bonding to the hull of my sailboat

What's the flex like in this stuff? Say versus the same thickness of mg plywood?

Does it flex for a curved transom, 1 1/2 thickness

you can cut 1"grooves every 6 or so inches on opposite sides across the board to allow it to flex a little bit, I wouldn't suggest cutting it any deeper than that.
