Talk about a smashfest! In today's video, me and my buddy took our Jon boat up to the Logan Martin tailrace in search of Spots, Striper, Hybrids, and White Bass! We ran into a giant school of drum and got to see a few big spots and a cool transition during the day. Enjoy!

Are you anchored or are you using a trolling motor to stay in position?

We use the motor! Some guys use an anchor up there but it can get dangerous if they change the current.

How deep is the water there?

Depends on the current level. With no generation you can’t even get up to the dam without a flat bottom, with 1-3 generators you can make it up just fine in most any boat
