i’ve got a question for you guys, it’s about previous drug use and how strict departments are. I know that department’s vary by state but just based on your knowledge. I’ve been a full time pot smoker since I was 16(i’m 21 now) i’ve also done quite a few other drugs, just to name a few i’ve done heroin, cocaine and molly so it’s pretty bad but i haven’t done anything like that in 2+ years. I only smoke pot which i am quitting soon, basically my question is would departments around you guys immediately disqualify someone like this or would they still give them a chance?

Regarding the 1st vid. I respectfully disagree on back out and you have all the time in the world. Yes I agree not walking up on a kidnap suspect -armed. But we do and this happens. His finger is on the trigger and it only takes a part of a second to reorientate on you. He’s sizing you up. If he’s ballsy enough to kidnap, ballsy enough to pull out a blaster in front of you he is ballsy enough to go out shooting plus he is probably using current political climate to his advantage. Sure it worked out but it hasn’t always and this as your default will get you in trouble, in my opinion.
