COP28 Summit 2023: A 12-year-old climate justice activist from India stole the spotlight at the COP28 in Dubai. The climate activist from Manipur stormed the stage at the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2023. Licypriya Kangujam was seen holding the "End fossil fuel. Save our planet and our future” placard. Her protest interrupted Majid Al-Suwaidi, Director General of COP28 address. She took to the stage and also delivered a short speech against the use of fossil fuels. Full story here.

In Manipur due to mass trees cutting and deforestation water scarcity is very high. Building of small dams is the measure to conserve water and planting more trees. Killing birds is also one of the main issue because birds are the planters of our Mother earth.
