Every Copa America should be like this. 10 CONMEBOL teams and 6 CONCACAF teams. No more Asian teams in it. And teams like Mexico and USA can get better playing against South American opponents.
@@SeweyJr remember Japan played a competitive style of tactical vision in the 2019 edition with a young squad to make a sharp statement in contrast to other Asians sides, but I agree overall the cup must be focused on the original nations of south America& concacaf region
I came here to remember the good old days, this definitely was the funniest, best organized Copa América i had the pleasure to watch. Sadly we lost the final match 🇦🇷....
To this day i still remember chile 7-0 mexico I stayed up until 2 am to watch it and boy was it worth watching! Also brazil's exit from the group stage was very suprising
It was and we deserved it but nothing better then when Brazil eliminated Chile for the world cup qualifiers and the Brazilian fans chanting "Eliminados" that day all of Latin America was happy! 😂😂
We need another copa America like this seriously! What I would do is let both concacaf and conmebol keep their individual tournaments the year after each World Cup. Then in the same summers as the Euros have another copa America centenairo style tournament always held in the USA and ever 4 years. All 10 from conmebol and top 6 from concacaf. That would be amazing!!
Mexico and USA which are the only competitors in CONCACAF got destroyed by South American teams. This just goes to show CONCACAF is not at the level of CONMEBOL.
Concacaf: Hey congrats on 100 years but we've always felt kinda left out since we're also an American confederation. We have some strong teams that can give yours a run for your money, so how about we do a *real* Copa America? Conmebol: OK. Seriously, this was the footballing crossover I didn't know I want. Concacaf teams were able to compete, and compete well.
Dudes! How come Argentinians could say Messi isn't important for their team?! Come on that guy gave amazing assists and scored marvelous goals in that tournament!
It would be much better for the footbal in the Americas if the Copa America starts to be this way. Its useless to divide into Copa America (with south american teams) and Concacaf Cup. With all the nations, the competition is more attractive
En el 2020 los que gusten de perder su tiempo de vida que son Chilenos, andando pierdan su tiempo pobres miserables, es lo unico a lo que pueden aspirar en la vida, a el pinche futbol
Treki I'm talking about 2016 Copa centenario and the euro but if you want to sfich time lines then where did the 2 best player in history ever play in maradona, Pele
blanket53wc how bad did they lose in those semis? And they kinda got lucky that they won their group, which ensured that they would play Ecuador (a beatable team).
I mean he's right though, the US and Mexico are not anywhere near the same level as many of the South American teams. However the US and Mexico are still respectable though
the most hype copa america. concacaf and conmebol should have kept team up for arranging next copa america and make benefit solution for everyone. just get rid of gold cup, no one watch that
I feel like the commentators narrate the game just as if it was american football or basketball hehe. There's nothing better than spanish, portuguese and italian commentators
Is it me, or was this one of the more forgettable tournaments? Like I hardly remember any of the goals, yet I watched every game possible 🤷🏼♂️ I remember more from the Copa America 2015 then I do this one
