In today's video I reveal my 2008 Volkswagen Golf R32 that I bought from Copart Auto Auction with very minor damage. This car caught my attention because it carries a clean title, has very minor damage and was a run and drive with 47,000 miles. This Volkswagen R32 is Just 1 of 5000 cars in the USA and 1 of 2000 in DBP color. After reading all the comments from last video, Including both of the Samcrac comments, I decided to go with the R32 over the STI. The R32 will be a fun winter car and has a low purchase price like most of Auto Auction Rebuilds cars.

Are you sure it’s Country specific? It could very well not be 5,000 globally but I feel it would be 5,000 for North America more so than the states alone

its a dsg but also its a dry clutch and even if hes not on the throttle its not gonna effect the car what so ever.

Clean title. 👍R32’s are rare, but you paid $5300in total not including door and fender. Have you calculated cost how much to get everything fixed. FYI quarter panel can’t be fix (too many wrinkles better off replacing, which will be very costly. Door and fender and hood needs to paint blended. (Definitely off in shade of color) but good news is blending should t cost a lot. Tip: my brother own his own body shop and he told me when it come to blending hood, door and fender it only and edge that needs to be blended people don’t know that and that’s where body will charge a lot, but it up to your what your plan with the car. With that being said. In my opinion it’s was a bad buy.

Nice buy. I'd have a muffler shop add a Y-pipe to the rear with some 4 inch tips and be done. Most R owners delete the rear muffler anyway. I recently picked up an Eos from Copart with similarly mild damage. Wasn't clean title but lowish miles and drives perfect, top operates. Doesn't take much to total a car 10 years old lol

I have a mk5 r32 in United Grey. Hit a deer with it and cause almost identical damage to yours. Decided to keep it even tho it got totalled out by insurance. Rear quarter was spendy to fix but I'm glad I did it's such a dope car! Got some mods on mine saving up for an HPA turbo kit now that the bodywork is looking good. Excited to see what you guys do with this thing!

That clip of the blue R shooting flames in the beggining is running the United Motorsports Spark Cut tune. I ran that on my old MKV R32 as well. I had every bolt on except for cams and the car was only capable of a 14.1 1/4 mile at 96mph. They're just so heaavvyyy

Man, you found excellent car. Here in Europe all of them are in soo bad condition with 300000km. Car like that in good condition, with clear papers, and good maintenance cost around 20000€. Dont sell it because price of that car will start grow in few years. Greetings from Croatia 😁🇭🇷🖐🚘

also forgot to say it comes stock with launch control. turn traction off and put into sport or manual. one foot on brake and the gass to the floor. there should be no resistance and it should easily go to about 3-4k. if you feel like the car wants to move stop and re do the steps again. so you don't blow the trans

I'm late, but for the muffler, and if you're willing to be a bit creative, the Borla XR-1 is nearly perfect for 5cyl engines as far as exhaust note. Plenty of Volvo samples to hear

A slight small suggestion, check that your roof is sealed, usually golfs(all models) in any kind of accident the roof becomes misaligned and is leaking water inside the cabin and it's enough for 2 days to rain and your car will smell like dead rats

@@JohnStax98 yeah it's a sweet car and took me awhile to find it. Even with turbo they're slow unfortunately. I did about $8000 in upgrades and that might be too much for some people but that's the fun part. Keep us updated man.
