Hey, Randy! I remember seeing that yellow truck at a few Green Bay Packer football games. The paint job doesn’t surprise me because quite a few people up here in Wisconsin paint their car, trucks, and vans green and yellow and put the team logo on them. If you go to Lambeau field on game day, you will see a lot of them. That truck is a shout out to Packer fans and cheeseheads in Wisconsin.

I live in Colombia now but when I lived in the USA it was Illinois and I was and still am a Packers fan. Doesn't matter where you are, The Pack is worldwide. And yeah, Aaron Rodgers owns the Bears. Wish it was literally. They wouldn't suck then. #tossoutmccasky

The prices on 80s and 90s Lincolns have been climbing steadily over the past couple years, but only for premium examples in great original shape. I hope they realize their example isn't so hot and sells it at a reasonable price to someone who will put the work in to fix it up and actually enjoy it, because it does have good bones and has the potential to be a very nice car.

The 95 GMC was decorated by a Green Bay Packers fan. Note the colors and partial stripes and emblems on the mirrors.

Randy, there is also a handle on the e-brake bracket you can pull to release it. Also, they probably have the lock out valve open for the head light covers.

The truck came in with no key, so that was not the same issue.

I know it's not the case this time but why don't they lock them to the steering wheel on a chain or wire rope rather that just cable ties?

@@philtowle4683 Well they go through maybe 800 cars in a week. That would be an expense. That sounds stupid saying since they charge hundreds of dollars per car in fees. I think they take the easy route and go with the plastic. If you will notice the few keys that were stolen were from German cars that weren't secured to the cable tie, but rather just wrapped around because they do not have a hole to put the cable tie through. Maybe on those cars they need to keep the keys in the office but that would mean hiring another person to be responsible for that.

Back around '09 I scored an '88 Lincoln Town car for free from an old gal whose building manager was going to tow it. Had those same wire wheels. Threw in a battery and used most of a can of WD-40 on the throttle linkage and it drove home. Cleaned it up and sold it for $800. Those things just float down the road. If I find a good one I will not hesitate to claim it.

That in the Silverado that is for locking guns in. I saw that in US police documentaries in some patrol cars. They lock their AR or shotgun in it.

That first truck, if you were to put a jumper pack on it, the mileage may or may not come up. Also, that Yellow 95 would be a perfect project truck since a lot of stuff is still available for that platform.

The Lincoln - the big knob on the stereo turned on and off the premium sound amp. The trunk release was in the glove box.

I'd buy the Lincoln even though it's a little beat looking in the paint. Truth is cars are going for insane money and nostalgia is huge. We all remember the old days in the USA. Before all the nasty politics and garbage. I miss the old days as imperfect as they were.

On that yellow Chevy truck the green is in reference to the G sticker on the mirror on the driver side door it’s for the Green Bay Packers football team in Wisconsin. And that hood IS NOT a cowl induction hood as the air inlet is aimed towards the front whereas a “cowl induction” has the air inlet at the rear by the windshield - just look at any 70 - 72 Chevy Chevelle with a cowl induction hood and you will see what I am saying.

I may be wrong and someone can correct me if I am but That duramax Looks like the frame is broken right in front off the sway bar. Marked in red paint . Looks like a clean crack. Again if I'm wrong all good . Could have hit soemtbing with that monster bumper and broken the frame ??

The equipment in the Ford p/u makes me think it belonged to a Sheriff's search and rescue team. Many trailers have extra lights in side and out for command post set up, and probably needed the extra hook ups.

I will give the mark VI one thing. It has both of its front turn signal lenses. I haven't see that on one of these cars in decades.

Duramax is interesting too bad there’s no key. Chevy definitely beater with a heater. Lincoln i so remember those seats so comfortable. Asking way too much. I’d pay 1200 tops.

Some times you just don't get it Ford puts trunk buttons on these cars Crown Victoria's Grand Marquis, and Lincoln 's in the Glove Box unless its a Police Package Crown Victoria then its located on the lower center dash like my 2010

That's not how that radio works in the Mark VI. There is a rocker switch for power on and off. The control you were trying to turn is not a knob...you pull that out to engage the external amplifier.

1981 Lincoln has antique Variable Venturie hybrid carburetor/ fuel injection which primarily ran on vacuum. Nobody in the world can fix it unless you replaced intake with 2150 Autolite carburetor which alone would run 5g's.... Lol, try starting that lincoln on a 100° day. You'll find low compression quickly

Trunk release button should be in the glove box Randy on the Lincoln. My father had that same one in Maroon color and it was sweet, right up until they stole it. Car theft in the 80’s was out of control in Jersey. 🤣 Definitely not worth that kind of money even if they are true miles. Hell noooo!!!

Sit in an old Lincoln? Hell, I owned two as my first two cars and slept in one of them. Not a big fan of the Marks, and I'd hard pass on this one. If it were a 90s Mark VIII, though, that would be another story. I'd love to see one of them on the channel someday.

The Lincoln MkVI is less common than its near twin the Town Car. You can find excellent examples in the $6k-$10k range with under 100k miles so this one is ridiculously overpriced. The trunk release is usually a yellow button in the glove compartment. The Chevy stepside must be from Wisconsin! Yellow and green with the "G" on the rear view mirrors. Go Packers, eh!

I think you are spot on about that Lincoln. Terribly overpriced, it’s a car that still falls in that weird spot of not quite being a desirable classic. I don’t doubt that in 10 years it will be a far more desirable car than they currently are but as you mentioned you can find perfect ones from $6000-$10,000.

Back in 2000 I had my own Linc Conti V... it was big and blue and you could fit eight of us British into it and still have wriggle room, abs massive engine that cost a quid to just start up... what an absolute beast :D

I remember buying it because I wanted to do a deal with a chap for his 65 Impala but he changed his mind and swapped it out for a straight six horrid Camaro, I sideswapped for a Cadillac finding out that 8 litre engine was even worse and took a BMW 735i and cash selling the Beemer and buying amongst things a Ford D series lorry which was epic, three axles twin wheels at back and a Perkins diesel in under the tilty cab... happy days :D

The Lincoln is awesome but they think they have a car that Jay Leno would restore and keep. It's a $1000 car for some to either drive as is or "restore" and enjoy it. I would restore it and make it a road trip car for sure.
