As a former owner of a magnetic red C5 you should grab that Vette if you can get it for $3000. That’s a rare color and hard to find. There’s about $12-14 thousand sitting there if repaired. You’d pull down a nice profit. It will cost you about $3000 to fix. You do the math. That engine alone is worth $3000 with the low miles on it.

The c5 has the t56 6speed manual transaxle or the 4l60 4speed automatic transaxle, which means the trans is mounted in the back.

They have a 4 or 5 cylinder. The 5 has great power. Had 1 for 15yrs. Bought new off sales lot.

If I was looking at that Genesis and I saw engine honey, I'd run as far away from it as fast as possible

That genesis is bad lol, but I feel like it would be a great addition to the channel, $1,500 doesn’t sound to crazy to be honest I figured for that price it wouldn’t start or move, but someone definitely treated it like garbage, but I’m sure you yourself and you also said it, it probably wouldn’t be something for you. But that Colorado doesn’t look like a bad truck, it wouldn’t be bad to keep or even to flip

Dude I'm driving a fuel tanker 24 years and you are right things have changed, they don't care that im 80k lbs with 8800 gallons of gas, they do some really stupid shit. It seems everyone wants to die, because I can't see how they think they will survive and collect lawsuit money if I run on top of them. Randy, I think the difference between '97 and now is that even the smallest cars are pretty quick. The bigger cars are in a horsepower war and people aren't capable of handling that much power. You never saw somebody in a 1992 Cavalier racing around like that. Technology is not always your friend.

For $1500 that Genesis seems like an ok car for somebody who just need a car to get from point A to B. I on the other hand have OCD and would need to make sure everything on the car is decent enough before I bother with it.

Randy its your money and your life do what makes you happy and what makes you good. But it never hurts to save money and make some money doing what you like to do. Keep up the great work.

Beside the red Hyundai's replaced front right guard, near the fuse box, the hole opening has a wrinkle, in two places on the edge where the inner guard was squashed in and not fixed, with paint cracked off/missing. As the holes are out of round. Check the area around the fuse box.

Randy,the Hyundai the mode button on the steering wheel is what you press the engage the the screen between the speedometer and the tach.

You are right, the gap between fender and frame is open by 3/4 to 1 inch and fender is not fastened on top. When fastened the fender will be way out of line.

love these longer videos!! id be ok with payin like 2k maybe 2.5k-3k for the C5 if everything had potential to drive smoothly etc. i got a 14 corolla with 62k miles for about 10k 2 years ago and felt like i made out like a bandit until i went to sell it. dealership found out it had been a copart accident car with broken motor mounts/bent frame/uneven body panels and more probs.. bought it before i was a car guy so i took it to a big name repair shop for the inspection. they said it was great deal but i guess he didnt look it over very well. lesson learned.

I had to raise two children by myself so I never took interest for motorcycles. But when I retired in 2018 at 64 years old the bug bite me. I purchased a brand new Harley Davidson Iron 883 and took the class that they offered. I don’t go on expressways or long trip I stay in my comfort zone. I’ve put 6,500 miles on it and I love it. You might be a Sportster guy too.

I did the bike thing when I was much younger so I can’t offer great advice. One of my very good friends who was the safest rider I ever knew was killed on his bike at 40 years old. What a waste at such a young age with small children. I rode one more season and never got on a bike again. I don’t regret riding but 20 years later I still think about how much I miss my friend.
