Tailights look to be off a Caprice. It's all there.Somebody will save it.We had a 6 cyl 1960 and 1966 Impala Sport Coupe in my family which my late Father bought new.The 60' never gave him a problem so he traded for a 66' shortly after I was born. The car was in the junkyard in late 1972.Quarters had started to rust and the 6 cyl had a problem with the engine which was classified as a cracked block .Coolant was getting into the motor and destroyed to the motor.Needless to say that was Dad's last Chevy. Replacement was a 1972 Mercury Comet which was kept with no problems until replaced by an 82' Mercury Cougar which had issues and became his last American car.A 1989 Camry lasted 16 years until I shamed him into a 2005 Accord and then a 2012 Accord which was bought after Mom left this world. Wishing you the best for 2021 Randy.Keep up the good work.

RANDY!!! "You wouldn't know, unless you knew?" That's rich - it's like deja vu all over again... I love that '66, it's a big block, air conditioned, Super Sport! The 325 horse engine isn't the most desirable, but it's still a real-deal 396! The 350 horse and legendary L78 375 horse engines are the ones to really have, but I wouldn't kick a 325 out of my garage. Looks like it still has its original valve covers and air filter assembly! The higher horse engines got a chrome air filter and valve covers.

Bill Engvall is the one with "Here's Your Sign". Your giving credit to Jeff Foxworthy would have resulted in a second sign: "Jeff Foxworthy??? - Here's Your Sign". On the Mini Cooper: You mentioned that "it smelled like a flood" inside. The random scratches on the outside may have been the result of the car being in an actual flood (flash flood, for example). This might account for the sliced tires as well. Perhaps the owner tried to salvage it but gave up when the cost (and the odor) got to be too great. Love the '66.

I agree, Randy - the SS isn't up your street. Yes, you could get it and yes, you could make it a sweet ride with not a lot of effort.....but the money is all in the details and then (if you're like me) you'd wonder where to stop - is this careworn door skin good enough or should I replace it? ....but you know replacing one means replacing all so they match and before you know it, you're in the cactus for $25-30k I dunno what they are worth in pristine condition over there, but in New Zealand, they are advertised for big dollars (Impala SS around the $70k mark, with that era Camaro advertised between $80k and $170k)....and some do not move for months. People just don't have the spare cash to shell out all at once for an absolute pearler. That 66 SS is perfect for being a rolling restoration - something to use while you complete the work yourself over time. She's a beaut and was worth looking at - I'll definitely give you that - but as a money maker, the cash could be tied up in it for longer than you expect....and that's no good for business. I reckon it's safest you stick to the plan you started with for your channel / business unless a) it was going to go cheap or b) you were going to do it up yourself and keep it as your own Sunday cruiser. Love that car, but she's a bid-to-own beast, because you'll fall in love with it the more perfect she gets, I reckon.
