Nice to see you! I’m glad you are doing well aside from the side affects from your meds....hopefully it will subside soon....love the RV & your pics especially the one of you & your husband....take care & have fun...you’re in my prayers 🙏🏼
Hey Barbra. With or without the hair I bet your going to be the prettiest camper out there. Your happiness is shining. And i bet your husband would agree. Today was the first day i couldnt walk through Walmart without losing my breath. Couldnt do it. I've got a long way to go.
Hey Tommy hang in there! Keep working at it ... keep taking care of yourself and most importantly just keep moving. I am proof that you never know what is right around the corner 😉
Ive been following some of your journey within the past few months being diagnosed myself. I have adult onset asthma and Copd. Im 40. Just had my first bronchoscopy a few weeks ago..I was given general anathesia for it. Im so happy that you got your new lungs !!!!!!
MommyAtHome I know it's so hard to be diagnosed so young, but just hang in there and take good care of yourself and most of all just keep moving! So many new things on the horizon ... so many new treatments and so mcuh better results from older treatments as well. Have you been tested for eosinophils? If not ask your doctor, could result in a simple solution.
This is all such wonderful news with the new you ! The donor family have given you the most beautiful gifts ,the gift of hope , a better life, & more time to love your family. It's also important to us to see you doing so well , to see the big difference might also others to make the same choice as you.
Happy to c u. I have a suggestion on your hair. Rinse in near cold water and then lather up and only have water temp just slightly under warm water. Rinse well and then final rinse with cold water. Just towel blot your hair. Nothing vigorous. As you don't want he hair follicle to break when drying your hair. Hope that helps. Enjoy your R.V.. summers upon us.
Hi Barbra, so glad to see you looking and feeling so good! Sorry to hear about the hair situation. That would be upsetting to me too. I must admit there are days I wish I could just throw a wig on!! I had let my hair grow out so I can braid it to keep it out of my ventilator mask at night. I just got through all of the doctors and tests that the lung transplant team wanted me to do and will be going for a consultation on April 21 to hear their conclusion. Your new RV is gorgeous! I am so excited for you and your family. Thanks again for all that you share about your experiences. It helps so much.
@@BarbraMyPHCOPDLife Hi Barb! My appointment went well. They sent me off with a ton of more tests to have done and a booklet to read. The booklet was mostly a long list of all the reasons that they could drop me from the program. The rest was explaining all the things that could go wrong that I couldn't hold them liable for. Well, now I'm so unsure of what to do. My support group has dwindled down to 0. My husband has Crohn's disease and after 2 surgeries it has only gotten worse so we have to live one day at a time. My Bff was filling in when my husband can't and she just got a cancer diagnosis. My sister was helping but my Mom who is 83 and after a bout with what we thought was the flu was diagnosed with Colitis. She has been very weak and took a fall. So she needs constant care now from my sister. Thanks so much for asking. How often do you have doctor appointments now? Hope everything is going really good for you. I am so happy for you!
