Dear friends, here is finally the second part of my trip to Copenhagen at the end of August.
In this video I have the pleasure of showing you other wonderful highlights of this fascinating Nordic capital.
First of all, we start with Tivoli Park, one of the oldest amusement parks not only in Europe, which since 1843 has been delighting young and old with its attractions, amusements and, of course, its famous Gardens.
And then, the true symbol of Copenhagen, The Little Mermaid, inspired by one of the most beautiful fairy tales by Andersen, the famous Danish writer. The small statue that since 1913 has captured the eyes of millions and millions of tourists who cannot help but admire it in all its simple and delicate beauty.
And then again, one of the most beautiful Royal Residences in the city and in the whole of Denmark, Rosenborg Castle (1606), surrounded by a splendid rose garden.
Then, the particular star-shaped structure of the Kastellet, the beautiful citadel, the historic eighteenth-century stronghold of the city, located in an absolutely charming area of the city.
Then I wanted you to take a look again at the wonderful Nyhavn area, the postcard of Copenhagen, at sunset. An amazing beauty!
And yet the Stroget, the longest pedestrian street in Europe, full of beautiful shops, but above all of splendid squares that cross other streets in the charming city center.
Again, I take you with me to Island Brygge, the waterfront of Copenhagen, a truly fascinating area, which overlooks the sea and seems to embrace it....
And, one of the most loved walks by citizens and tourists, which overlooks the three artificial lakes of the city, then the buildings of Carlsberg, the old brewery, another icon of Copenhagen known throughout the world.
Finally, you will be able to see the beautiful and vast Frederiksberg Park, a place that I loved very much, full of peace and places to relax.
The Copenhagen City Hall, a historic building with a splendid tower that can be visited (unfortunately closed at that time) and a majestic and surprising atrium that can be visited for free.
And then the Opera House, a new attractive building with a particular architecture from which you can admire a wonderful panorama of the city.
In short, an extraordinary city, to be discovered on foot, admiring its beauties and enjoying an absolutely pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
