I call BS on the Hotdog being for Tourists. Most Danes prefer there's the same way. Between a bun and fully loaded❤❤. Get the fried one 😊. The red ones are boiled and mostly for Kids (more or less 🤣). ❤ your VLOG !! Happy Travels...
Its pretty much 50/50 on what Danes prefer. I feel like the people that often go to "pølsevogne" are the ones that prefer a good sausage and since some of the best sausages are too large to properly fit into the hotdog they will simply eat them together with bread instead. Also a lot of people get pølsemix, bøfsandwich or ribbenstegssandwich.
Just back from Stockholm 3 weeks ago, so lots of love back to Sweden and Stockholm, lovely city, a bit of trouble, but it is a hard time right now, so no worries :D
Bullshit! Apart from Hans Christian Andersen, The "Brunsviger" is among the BEST thing FYN has provided to DK 😊! I live in CPH, (but from Jutland). I ❤ Brunsviger !! But yeah! What there getting isn't a real "Brunsviger" 🙄
@@KHValby I lived in Copenhagen for over 20 years before I found a place that made brunsviger the original way (Nordisk Brød on Holmbladsgade). Once I wanted a brunsviger for my birthday, I had to contact 5 bakeries before I found one that agreed to leave out the cinnamon. It turned out pretty good.
I love that you took the time to go to Harry's Place and get a proper danish sausage instead of the touristtrap hotdogs from DøP on Strøget, that you see in every other youtube vacation video from Copenhagen!
That brunsviger has nothing to do with a real brunsviger. The topping should be dripping and sticky in the same time so you would need several wet wipes to clean yourselves up. ;) I'm glad you enjoyed our lovely city. I like to watch these videos to see, how other people from around the world experience it. It also inspires me to go out and visit new places I may not have known about. They pop up all the time.
Ohh the Brunsviger should be far less bread and way more sugar/butter mixture. Also try the Butter Burger at Gasoline. When I got it in Tivoli it was absolutely dripping butter in the best way possible. Also also Kardemomme snurrer from Juno should be the best. It's not to my taste, but people from outside Denmark at work swear by them.
I think Simon would enjoy a burger from Shake Shack. Come to NY guys you will love the burgers. I haven’t been to Copenhagen but if I ever go I will definitely try gasoline grill.
simon seems like a good guy, and zoe is a a stunning looking lady, she is so effervescent she is intelligent gorgeous and sweet, love watching you guys
cinnamon rolls are very much danish, but they are called" kanel snegl" in danish, meaning cinnamon snails. Many danish classics are getting new more english "friendly" names..
