It's been forever since I've uploaded a video but I filmed this quickly last week while out on my nightly quarantine walk (now they require face coverings in LA!) I know this is a hard time. Keep your chins up and please, please, call for help if you need it. You are not alone. MORE BELOW:

As a cancer survivor too, the change in my personality was huge (according to my wife) she loves me more NOW than before cancer. I treat people with much more kindness and compassion. I can see that it has impacted you in a similar way. I am glad you have come out on top of this. You look beautiful as always.....but I am sure that does not mean anything to you anymore. There are more important things to be concerned about.....friends, family.

This was the best video on RU-vid this week. I was waiting for a joke at the end because it's Taryn, but the sincerity and authenticity worked without a punchline. Taryn's revealing comparison to cancer makes me feel guilty about complaining about sheltering at home. I also do something similar to the imagination exercise Taryn recommends. It's called ancient child and I imagine myself as a young, innocent, and pure boy look forward to life and, then, at the same time, as an older man at the end of my life looking back on my memories. I try to take a path that will excite and please both the young version of myself and the future, elderly version of myself. Taryn's right -- this kind of thing feels a little "woo woo", but it's well worth doing.

I've been following you on and off for years. You're the kind of wise, strong and compassionate person who it seems often get slammed with all their karma at once, early on in life, so they have the rest of their life to purify it. I had a massive psychedelic-triggered breakdown at 27 that changed everything about my life and 15 years later to lead to continual change. I believe that this is what's happening to you, as it is to me. If karma is not part of your belief system that's fine as well. It's just a perspective. Be assured that karma does not imply judgment or blame, however, it's just a process that unfolds across lifetimes. And our job is to clean it out by responding with equanimity and kindness and becoming a greater being as a result.

as it happens a friend of mine who lived real close to where this was filmed passed from breast cancer in 2009 at age 25. alot of the reason she didn't make it was that she never really took her treatments seriously and in fact gave them up altogether at a certain stage because she was, i think, in denial about the extent of her illness (but she really really hated the treatments). you, on the other hand, seemed to have taken the whole thing seriously and therefore i'd guess your chances are much better. good luck take care.
