If you look at father Mike's eyes you can tell he lacks sleep, but the lacking of sleep means he puts so much effort in serving God. Father Mike we all have you in our thoughts of prayers. May you continue to serve God Faithfully till the end.
As a cynical Evangelical and reeling first time mother, Fr. Mike was the first thing that came up on RU-vid after a counselor told me to search for videos about "Forgiveness". For some reason, when Fr. Mike said there was a God...I wanted it to be true. When Fr. Mike said God loved me...I really wanted that to be true as well. Chris is spot on-- it's not that Fr. Mike is awesome or a "rockstar" as much as it's that God really, really wants to say something powerful and this person is who I'm hearing it through. I can't believe I'm about to say this but I am crawling back to my faith thanks to internet ministries like Ascension, Poco a Poco, and RealLifeCatholic and, err...ummmm...... thank God??? 😅
Fr Mike helped me finally (at age 56) finish my entire bible last year and this year (age 57), I am on the dot with my Catechism in a Year which will end on 31 Dec 2024. I will always, always be grateful. I follow Chris too. God bless them both. I live in a Muslim country in Asia (9,300 miles away) and I ❤ both of them.
As a woman who struggles with deep shame due to past sins and past trauma, it is comforting to hear from Fr. Mike that I will not need to feel ashamed before Jesus because of how God worked His grace through those past sins and past trauma. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
Beautiful - you are a winner. It's a lot and we all have "past sin flashback". It's a lie from the evil one - once we are forgiven, I am told, God has forgotten our sin, His forgiveness is REAL.
Fr Mike is a gem. He is authentic, funny, friendly and so easy to listen to. He helped me get back into Catholicism after years of dilly-dallying in my faith. Now I’m learning all kinds of Catholic things, reading the Bible, doing the Cathecism, and walking with Christ in large part thanks to him 😀
Father Mike, you helped bring me back to the Catholic Church after being away for over 50 years. I will never be able to thank you enough and I pray for you every day. 🙏🏻
Fr. Mike, I live in the NW coast of Oregon. Every week I tune into your homilies either before or after my mass. I share with my 12 year old daughter. I’m starting her on the Bible in the year, I did that with you in 2020, you’ve helped me learn and grow as a cradle Catholic. Thank you for helping me be fired up, glory be to God. I wish we had a strong Catholic community to help fire up our youth here in the NW, especially our coastal communities get neglected. Trying to do my part to bring my girls the truth of our faith and to stay focused. There’s a lot of great Catholic educators fired up online. I love that. We need more strong catholic sisters to connect with our young girls too. Anyhow, I love all that you do. I really appreciate all your hard work.
I too wish there was a stronger Catholic presence for our youth and young adults in their 20s here in PNW - Seattle area is so dark I have been trying to decide where to move and always look at the Parishes and community in the different states across the country I am exploring. I wish there was a directory published that would show population and community involvement as I know there are some areas thriving while some are non existent.
@@ronellcarrollHi, have you heard of Holy Rosary in Portland? We have such an amazing ministry, so many young Catholics at our parish! We have young adult social events every month ☺️ I think there’s one at St. Stephen’s as well! come by!
Have been blessed to be at four events where Fr Mike celebrated mass and all three of the four times blessed to receive communion from Fr Mike. Jesus Christ shines through Fr Mike’s eyes. His heart is real and his passion for our Lord - unending. God bless and protect this disciple of God. And thank you inspiring, hardworking, Chris S!!!!!
@@SeaPace-zo4wc That is a bit shallow of you, SeaPace. Given a choice? I would far rather receive communion from Fr Mike than some lay person dressed casually in jeans who has no idea what he is doing.
at the beginning of my journey returning to the church, I found Fr. Mike almost too much for me. It wasn't him, it was me. The joy he has in his life with Jesus was almost blinding for me at first and now I just love it. I was timidly dipping my toe back into the waters of Faith and he is so enthusiastic in his love for Christ it blew me away! Intimidating. Now it draws me in. God bless you both! (this is the first time I've heard of Chris and I look forward to exploring more of his videos - subscribed!)
I started the Bible and the Catechism in a year in January, but traveling made me missed lot of it that I am listening to 2 to 3 chapters when I make time to do it. I know I will not finish this year but I will keep on doing it. My prayers goes out to Fr Mike for all the good he is doing. ❤❤❤
❤ Fr. Mike. From the first time I saw one of his videos. I see good priests now, w/a glimpse of what Fr. Mike has now. It just seems at times that their love for the Lord is there, but that the intensity is not the same. The impression is that they've been doing it for so long that maybe they take some short cuts. I believe that is why Fr. Mike is so loved. That his passion for his calling is still burning and for that, I'm grateful. It fuels us. God bless you Fr. Mike, abundantly.
What Father Mike "has" is a fiery love for the Lord, and he wants us to catch that same fire!!! I pray for protection over him every day! By the Precious Blood of Jesus!!🔥🔥🔥
Fr Mike thank you for stating that sometimes Joy and Excitement in your love of Jesus will be misunderstood. I’m a Methodist pastor and my enthusiasm (which is God given) has been said to be rainbows and unicorns. At first I was hurt; but hearing your story you have found a way to accept the criticism with grace and understanding. Thank you - God bless
Chris, what a great show! Keep smiling... You both shared a great gift of deep reflection - Mary's magnificat, the final judgment... Only things the Holy Spirit reveals in prayer. Thank you for your work (enduring the stress it brings) and your deep prayer!
This was a gem. You both are godly men who are working for God in the public eye. Because that's the hardest place to be authentically Catholic. Keep spreading Christ's love and the true joy of God!
Fr. Mike is a Bright Beacon, A lighthouse in life's storms. May God continue to bless him abundantly. He knows how to co-operate with the Lord's grace. I pray for him regularly. Rhonda, from Ireland
Not a Catholic, but I love your show Chris, and I am doing both Fr. Mike’s Bible and Catechism in a Year. I love all of it. Bless you both and your relationship with our God! Thank you Lord for both of these godly men.
What a great episode! Oh man, I can’t even express the excitement I feel when listening to these two, not just in this episode but when they’re solo also. They’re both just so incredible and such a joy to listen to. I hope more young people listen to these two, we need more Christianity and goodness in this world and that is achieved through the gospel and hearing Gods word!! Thank you so much for your amazing ministry both of you❤
❤❤❤❤ I loved this!! I am starting full time ministry soon, because I have this heart and joy and relatability too. I never saw it, I thought I was annoying. Lol. So I feel that. You both inspire me. I finally see my adhd as a blessing, a vessel to spread the message. I cannot wait. Thanks for the advice to stay, Humble, busy and most importantly connected to God. Bless you both. Well done faithful servants. Never stop.😊 peace KK
The last comments about mass I shared with my two teen boys and we talked about it. And I have had them watch an entire video of Fr Mikes about mass and about how it’s not for us, it’s for God. Thank you Fr Mike and Chris for this beautiful interview for us to know you better when we already feel like you both are a part of our families. 😊
Remarkable interview. Thank you so much....So many great moments which everyone noticed but I was personally struck by the way Fr Mike schedules all his activities to the nearest 5 minute interval; like every minute of his day, his ministry, his life requires intention and planning. With God's help, I pray that we can all have the same awareness of every minute passing and live it with that sense of 'the stakes being high' as Fr talks about. God bless you all!
Father Mike, I love when at the end of your Gospel reading you break it down into easy understanding the Gospel you have read to the faithful……..I pray for you…and your ministry, your love of God …….
Amazing video! After watching and listening to Fr. Mike over the last few years, I'm so glad to have "met" him through this conversation. I'm praying for you, and look forward to both of your content each day :)
It was a blessing to see this podcast with both of you, I love listening to both of you because you explain difficult topics where I can understand and the examples you give are great thank you for your work may you continue to use the talents that God gave you to bring many souls to God
I love both of you. I love the energy you both have and love learning from each of you. I thank God for the two of you. Continue to do God’s work. God bless you both.
Fr Mike, I love your homilies. I started loving the homilies when I went to Mother Angelica’s Shrine in Alabama. I heard the most beautiful homilies and witnessed such reverence. And the confessional was so beautiful, I felt so loved. It wasn’t just to get in and out, the priest, Fr Leonard made me feel like I was the only person that existed on earth at that moment . He changed my heart. I pray everyone can experience this kind of Love. I pray our priest will all become educated and become so reverent and fill our churches. Thank you to all our priest.
Fr. Mike is a great communicator for Jesus and I hope he always stays on Hallow to give us all the understanding of God’s Word. He’s truly blessed and a true blessing to all of us! Thank you, Fr. Mike!❤🙏
Really enjoyed this conversation between you two very special young men who are full of the joy and love of the Lord , He shines through both of you ! ♥️you are both so inspiring! Thank you for what you are doing in the world!
Father Mike is really God's servant he is asked to go somewhere to preach the word he travels even if he didn't have enough rest he goes and fulfills his Vocation with joy.
I have to say thank you so much for both of your ministries. I am a volunteer catechist who teaches high school Confirmation at my parish. Both of your videos from The Chosen series to Father Mike's videos have been instrumental to my less than one year course I have to teach to children who grew up in the faith but don't know what it truly is about. So, I thank you both for your tireless work. Thank you also for your final words of encouragement because at times I do wonder if I am doing the right thing or is it worth it. This is especially since for years I have wanted to share the Gospel and work in ministry but was rejected because I didn't go to graduate school for Theology though I spend countless hours learning and praying on my own. But there are times when I feel God's grace and encouragement to keep it up because the people I serve matter and he reminds me that I matter too. Many blessings and prayers!
Chris, it's the first time I have watched your show. I have done Fr. Mike Bible in a year and doing his catechism in a year. I love your interview with him. I am looking forward to future shows. You have mentioned Fr. Leo. I enjoyed his shows, and he has preached at my church in Nacatee FL. He is friends with our pastor, Richard Pagano. Fr. Richard had a podcast called The Catholic Talk Shop. Have you been a guest on his show? I am looking forward to watching more of your show. Great interview with Fr. Mike. God bless, Tim C.
I wish you could have touched on Fr. Mikes family a little bit more. Are his neices and nephews aware of the fact that he is a Rock Star on the Catholic social media platforms...and what do they think about it? Do they know how cool their Uncle Fr. Mike is...ha! Wishing you both infinite success on the work you do for our Lord, and for His Church! God bless you! 🙏
Many people who are very joyful (like Fr. Mike) are labeled "Golden Retrievers" because of that breed's insatiable happiness. But Goldens are not just dumb blondes. They are one of the most used dogs for Assistance Dogs who need to learn many tasks and to focus on "their person" despite distractions. So I happily call Fr. Mike a Golden Retriever. 😍God bless!!
Im so grateful for this insight to the person, the blessing! who is Fr. Mike. His bubbly, down to earth and truly relatable character, draws me repeatedly to listen to his homilies and podcasts as often as I can sometimes daily. May God bless and keep you Fr. Mike and Stefan, you are a jewel talk about a true lay missionary. I praise God for you and your ministry. Kudos.
Fr. Mike....you say stuff like you have had a talk with me and are reaching out to my...struggles. I feel like I can endure to the last. I know that my God loves me
Thank you both gentlemen! I pray that God continues to fortify your beautiful positive ways in your ministries. I enjoy hearing about the daily practice and routines to inspire my own. Thank you, thank you!
As an American, I've observed that people from other countries are usually more friendly and and they tend to smile and be welcoming.. Why? Because they're grateful to be here....
Delightful to be with you in spirit & heart & listening, thank you for sharing yourselves with us!!❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 St Joseph & St John Vianney pray for you two!!😇😇➕️
I am thankful to THE LORD for crossing paths in this moment of History… may He continue to bless you both and your ministry to continue building His Kingdom on earth.
Thank you Chris Stefanick for interviewing Fr Mike. Very good interview. I listen to him on Hallow and also watch his mass on Sunday. You asked good questions and he gave good answers. Since starting to listen to him, I've learned so much about my faith and feel I have come so much closer to God and Our Blessed Mother. Thank you both. May God Bless, Claire.
That's what I tell my youth formation classes when I share information from other teachers that I may not be as eloquent at explaining the faith but I know truth beauty and goodness and check this out.
@luisgerard Indeed we do. Let us pray that he repents of the scandal he has created, and returns to the full belief in the One True Holy and Apostolic Church.
