Imagine if you do a 53 gallon copper boiler. I would pay good money for that. The beautiful copper but with the added benefits of putting an agitator and a flute on top of it.
Our older supplier used to do these Alembics in a 53 gallon size, but stopped because it's too much work. The new supplier for these we have are gung-ho, they just need a little more experience with the smaller machines before we head there. But, we'll have these available in the next few years!
We have the copper lid that somewhat fits that, but might look into a full onion head design to fit the boiler at some point! We do have our copper helmets that kind of scratch that itch here, though: milehidistilling.com/product/copper-whiskey-or-brandy-helmet/. We supply those in 3" all the way up to 8" diameter if you're interested.
The 8 gallons will likely be a few years before they come back. I recommend filling the 5 gallon to 4 gallons-4.5 gallons. I don't think as much headspace is needed in that design, but I still like to be safe. That's just me.
