The band and their music are great don't get me wrong, but to me it just sounds like a more technical version of Irepress with lesser arrangement and composition...
@@IdAefixBE music is subjective, people who don’t even know the group you’re comparing them to will probably end up with this band filling that same slot in their brain instead. 🤟🏼
1) no they cant cause that. 2) that's not even close to being funny. you wouldnt be making humor out of that if you struggled with it yourself. try being more considerate next time you wanna make a joke.
Anthony, that drummer is so violent it gave my little sister a brain anuerism after I blasted it 2 hrs straight for her birthday party last weekend. Luckly she is sowsly recovering but it’s been causing random seizures
This band use to have a vocalist but this album completely changed how they sounded and for the better. Keep this style of music and I will keep listening.
I always knew the drums for the first minute or so is nutso, but actually watching Aris play it live here is... mind-blowing to say the least. Easy album of the year for me, you guys blew it out of the park and the planet itself!
I read someone's comment on a tool video and stuck 'from the gallery of sleep' on spotify whilst i walked to work. HAD to finish it on my lunch break. Amazing stuff from start to finish. I think part 4 levitation is my favourite track, it's just fucking mental.
an interview with tamu murat brought me me here. herself being a worldclass drummer, she said, she listening a lot to aric and night verses. what a drummer and band! another level. I´m glad I found them.
This album was a serious surprise last year for me. A friend threw it on at a party and I was instantly hooked. The drum work is out of this world! Amazing release gentlemen. I hope for a lot more in the future!
Just found this group in the last couple of months. I fell deep into instrumental metal over the past several years and this group is one of the first times I've just listened to an album on loop and can't find a song I don't like. This song is probably one of my favorites from the album with No Moon being a close second. I can't wait to hear more from these guys
I heard Aric on a podcast describing various musical influences of his and certain albums that changed how he approaches his creative process. He described how the album “Sound Awake” by Karnivool was one of his favorite prog metal albums to listen to, but that he has a greater reverence for “Asymmetry” because when listening to it, he felt only that band could’ve created that sound. Well Aric, much like you revere “Asymmetry” I revere this album. I don’t think another group of talented, creative musicians could’ve come up with this sound. It’s an astonishing achievement. Keep pouring out your brilliance through your instruments, and for the love of God, come through Denver the next time y’all tour!
Can someone help me figure out the time signature for the section that begins at 0:39? I believe it changes from 7/4 to 4/4. Am I correct in counting this?
GOD DAMN!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏 What more needs to be said? You guys nailed this record, top to bottom. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say this is legendary. Bra-fucking-vo! Incredible incredible incredible work.
I want that peddle setup, damn this sounds so good. I can shred a bit but I only have an acoustic, ironic I know, but i am poor. I don't know the first thing about where to start with everything you can do on electric but it will be fun and I love metal. Great stuff
Holy shit I've been mind fucked! The whole band is killing it, but the drummer is on another level o.o I found y'all on the "Instrumental Inspiration" playlist posted by Animals as Leaders! You're at the top and rightfully so!
