I was stuck in traffic outside Bloomfield today just before the match gate openings. The reason was a bloke was half way over the curb and the road , on the ground with a visible head injury. Out of all the many riot vans , horses and foot police. It was members of the public that were stopping the traffic , redirect traffic and helping the man until an ambulance arrived . Just after it arrived, finally, two horses slowly trotted down. Hopefully the blokes ok .
“If you want to know the way ask a Policeman” who will immediately, along with their mates, surround you and accuse you of causing them ‘alarm and distress’ with your ‘hurtie words’. At which point, they will pepper spray you in the face, taser, boot, thump and pile you to the ground, while gripping you in a terminal headlock. At which point you will be accused of any number of outrageous and inapplicable crimes, shut in a cell for hours and then released without charge but with your sensibilities seriously outraged. I wonder why everyone is avoiding them? Police mantra these days is, what would George Dickson do? Right, now do the exact opposite.
We had the same in Manchester the day before, we were told there were bomb threats made, but they never told the public, I would have gone straight home. X

Yes and the Police could be doing other things but they have to have to baby sit adults who cannot watch a sporting event without a fight. Sometimes you have to look in the mirror at who is causing the problems
If it had kicked off then all the moaners would have said " they should have been more police " , perhaps those police stopped any violence by their presence.
It's discusting to have to say , but I would feel scared to walk down that British street with a union jack . Yes in my own bloody country. I would feel safer carrying a Ukraine or Palestine flag. What has happened to our own country. Bloody outrageous. Vote Reform people.
What a pointless video, the police are there to reassure the public, and to be a visual presense, after all it is a family resort that has an increased footfall year on year. Going forward you should be greatful that we have a force that ranked in a public area ready to respond to incidents.
