A modder used the cop NPc model and said that they do have the nightstick, but they don't use it, all they are programmed to do is "shoot now, fill the paperwork later"

Just to point something out. GTA IV: Guns are banned in Liberty City, due to gun control, as this is a representation of NYC. GTA V: Guns are *mostly* legal, hence the plethora of Ammu-Nations. And yet GTA V cops are ten times more aggressive.

I was at the Altruist camp in Online, fighting them. Then the cops showed up, just out of the blue. They didn't care that I was shooting a bunch of psychos in a cult, they just used their telepathic super powers to know that I was doing something they didn't like. And they don't like anything.

Cops in GTA V don't say "LCPD...". They live in the state of San Andreas, there isn't a city that has the initials LC. The confirmed cities are LS, LV, and SF.
