what if I need to copy a schedule from Revit 18 to Revit 19 ?

Since schedules can be only be copied from one project to another if they are the SAME VERSION.. to go from Revit 18 to 19 uses a 'blank' project to make the transfer. Create a new empty (fresh) Revit 18 project.. copy /paste the schedule you want into it.. then upgrade is file to 2019... that way you can copy/paste the schedule into your 2019 destination project. It's an extra step.. but it's actually quite quick and prevents you from upgrading the entire 2018 file just to get the schedule.
