That was amazing to watch! Very intriguing- a moment that raised my curiosity was when you went to the mailbox. It signaled to me that you were anticipating something in the mail and further pushed me to watch till the end. Well worth it 👏🏽✨

Thanks so so much for taking the time to watch the video and I’m so happy you enjoyed it! Especially the mailbox moment. I liked filming that because for me it was a metaphor for life sometimes we anticipate things to go one way but then that one thing does not pan out, which was a metaphor for my dad’s health. One day everything just changed and I know it was subtle in the video but that’s what I had in mind when filming that part

I'm not a cinematographer but always feel so inspired when I watch those (and I hate to use such an overused word but...) cinematic videos. I'm learning a little at a time, and I too have enjoyed Riza's vlogs. I also really love shows like the Handmaid's Tale, which tell you SO much, and convey so much emotion with a million small stylistic choices. It's amazing. I want to learn that. I think what you've done here is great. I dunno if it's of interest to you, but I bet people would love it if you taught them a little of what you know, in my case, especially lighting and colour grading (I've tried doing my own and always just end up using LUTs). Anyway, good job. :)

Thanks so much for the comment and taking the time to watch the video It truly means so much! and Riza has this super power of inspiring so many people and I forsure am one of them. I have heard soo much of about Handmaid’s Tale so since you are another person who enjoyed it I really gotta bump it up on my to watch list. You mentioning you would like to learn more about lighting, color grading and LUTS I would be more than happy to try and explore my knowledge on those topics in the next videos I make so thanks for giving suggestions. Its tough for me to think of what videos to make next so its really nice to hear at least from you a few things that interest you, so I will work not hose videos :)

Thanks so much for noticing :D I hope you like the color grade! It honestly is nothing crazy at all, I am not a colorist nor will I ever claim to be lol BUT I just did a pretty simple REC709 LUT on my BMPCC6K footage and tweaked the saturation,contrast and exposure to get something that I thought looked cool :D how do you do your color grading? also I used DaVinci Resolve for both editing and color grading this video :)

Which lut do you use for grading ??

I actually just used the the Arri Rec 709 LUT then did some edits to contrast and saturation with some film grain added on top :) nothing crazy
