how to copy data from a html table on a website to microsoft excel so that it looks like the original table. If someone has a better way to do this please let me know. I really did this video to remind me how i did it.
this is awesome !!! I haven't tried it yet, but this can come in VERY handy and is fairly easy to set up for a non-programmer like myself. To speed up column data selection a little, there are some keyboard shortcut combinations to select all data in a column from top to bottom. For example, try Ctrl+Shift+Arrow Down to select all data down to the last populated row. Also, try searching Excel Help for topic "fill down". Thanks a lot for sharing and putting this video together. (Can't believe this has only a handful of likes)
actually theres an easier way, select all the cells that were filled manually i.e. the cells containing lgr3c8, lgr3c9, lgr3c20 and lgr3c21. then select the box first across to the end. and enter, then select all these rows and press enter. Excel will automatically fill in the value with the required numeric spacing. In my case there was a difference of 19 columns between my values. When I selected them all and dragged them down, the first column was filled the values from columns 19 cells apart from the previous row.

You are the best and honest person, to speed up the drag down thing drag for first coloumand for rest select and double click on the cornor of the selected cell + sign it will auto process.
