Hey folks, I tried your recipe tonight for my Wife and our 7 year Granddaughter. I used the recipe for both the sandwich for the Wife and I and I picked up some chicken tenderloins to make Chicken Strips for my Granddaughter who did all the prep except for handling the raw chicken. After her first sampling of the sauce, she started raving about how it tasted better then CFA. That declaration became even louder when she bit into the Chicken Strip. I made her four of them but her Grandma swiped one. Nonetheless, she carried on so about the taste and texture of the meat you would have thought she was a judge on Food Channel. In fact, we keep CFA sauce packets in the fridge so she got the idea to do a "side by side" taste test of the homemade sauce compared to CFA's. Her response was the homemade was better and that she could even tase the BBQ sauce in the homemade. Keep in mind again that she is only 7 but she and her Grandmother watch a lot of Food Channel. When it came the Wife's turn to get her sandwich, like my Granddaughter, she could not stop raving about the taste and quality of the chicken. I was the last one to bite into the chicken. After stopping my eyes from rolling around in my head like a slot machine, I said to myself: "Self you have gone and outdone yourself!" You guys have knocked it out of the park. Thanks for posting this FANTASTIC recipe.
i’m a team leader in the kitchen at a chick-fil-a near me and i must say this is very very close to how we do it, you even breaded the filets the exact same way we do and the milkwash is spot on. nice job
