hehe time for another map :0
Rules:
-Please follow the script and designs
-You can do a little bit of tweening if you want but please try and animate most of your part
-This isn't going to be first come first serve and I'm going to be really picky with this one
-you can take up to 2 parts
-don't add a watermark/signature, I will credit you when its completed
-Please only join if your sure you can complete your part, and if you do have to drop out that's completely fine just please tell me
-When asking for a part please give me multiple parts that you would like just in case the taken
-please tell me your discord name if you have discord so I can add you to a discord server for the map
-please cut the audio as best as you can
-Please read the script before asking for the part
-Green screen and stuff like that is completely fine
-You can collab with someone just tell me who so i can credit them
-If i havent made the design for a certain character please use the ones by Nifty-Senpai: / warriorsproject just change it so that if there a dead dark forest cat (e.g. tigerstar, mapleshade, antpelt) have there eyes black like what I've done for my designs.
-For the dark forest please use blues and purples

For anyone asking, yes, this is still going. For MAPs like this, it’s normal for it to go for a year or two or longer. Sometimes it can take longer, and all of the MAPs I’ve seen take no longer than five years. Usually just 1-3. Animation takes time. We also have this whole pandemic thing going on, which is most likely slowing a bunch down. And if y’all actually decide to look at the description, all of the parts are taken, so just stop asking for them. It’s better to wait than for it to be rushed. Just give the animators time guys. Stop asking when it’ll be finished, because guess what? We. Don’t. Know.

@@catt_disc I love Sagutoyas's work so I'm definitely not trying to hate, but if you look at her playlist of maps she has to finish there's always 15+ different projects... So it's not like she's taking her time on one project at a time and just takes longer than anticipated, she probably works on several at once and just doesn't get them done on time. I don't think she's always late, necessarily, but I do know that there are several projects on her to-do list that are just as old (if not older than) Copycat. [I am under the assumption, however, that she keeps in contact with the hosts and such, although idk for sure-- definitely not trying to claim that she sucks, is unreliable, or isn't a good person to work with. I wouldn't know! Just pointing out that she does take on a lot at once]

y'all i just wanted to post this here because i know you all are waiting for the finished map respectfully, stop being so pushy. maps aren't some big commitment- they're just for fun. And i say this as a map host myself, even when all of the parts are done, there's still some things to do. And they usually take a while. Of course, it depends on the motivation of the host and participants, but I've known tons of maps that have taken years to be finished. But they were eventually completed and turned out great, just like this map will be. please don't rush owlspark or any of the animators- they're not trying to stall the project, they're just trying their best to make sure it's as good as it can be before they post it, and owl is probably a student. She likely hasn't found much time or motivation to mess with a cat map, and we have to respect and understand that. I understand your excitement, i am too, but there's no need to be so arrogant about it. I promise you, it's coming. They're just deciding on a thumbnail and editing, and even that takes time. it's completely normal and okay to be impatient- but threatening the animators and host to finish the project is not only rude, but completely uncalled for. And please don't argue with me in the replies- i came here to break up arguments, not create them. If you disagree with what i just said, scroll past.

Hey everybody, calm down. Animation is hard and this song is slightly harder to animate. Cats are hard to animate as well, leave them alone because they are working on this. MAPs take a long time. Especially ones with 20+ animators. It's only been 2 years, calm down and be patient.

Also with disney and pixar they need to find voice actors create a script an animator doing the 2 to 3 hr movie while in this specific map there is no voice actors they are not needed since the person is using a song the. Map also has multiple animators that had a reasonable time of date + a expansion date and a script they can work from. The warrior cats animation community is too soft when it involves timing and if personal problems are in the way and you know its going or you haven’t even started it after a week then they should give it up

Does no one read the description?! I feel incredibly sorry for map hosts having to go through the constant questions of “can I have a part”, “when will it be finished.” The map is closed. Which means no asking for parts because the parts are all taken. The map could finish anytime. No one knows. Animating takes time, do people seriously think animators spend 24/7 working on their map parts? Because wakey wakey - they don’t.

Okay guys, 6 more peeps not done to 4 peeps, they are getting close to finishing, but please dont rush them and stop asking, "HURRY UP! / JUST FINISH ALREADY / IT'S STILL NOT OUT?" Becuase if you get yelled at by somebody and they tell you to be patient, your fault! i think it'll come out on 2 months, maybe more, but i know it will be out before Feb 2021! ♡︎

If there’s a part being remade I don’t understand why Owlspark doesn’t change the description, according to the desc the only part needed is fluffybandit and now that her parts done people are gonna start assuming the maps done cuz not everybody has twitter, the way the description hasn’t been changed is the making everyone think the map is done and Owlspark just hasn’t noticed, anyway though really excited for this map, all the parts are amazing and I know the redone part will be magnificent

It's possibly so people don't go to the person and spam them begging them to finish quicker. There have been many situations where people harass the participants' of MAPs to finish their parts so the final MAP will come out sooner.

Movies take a year and a half to complete and their not always good. But when it takes flippin 2 and a half *years* to finish a 3 *minute* MAP, then you know it's going to be bomb.
