Chocolate Cake Pops
I'll admit, cake pops are not the easiest thing to make on the first go. They can fall apart and get messy quickly. Here are some tips and tricks to make cake pops a breeze. Pro tip: you can make any flavor cake pop using the same steps!
Ingredients:
- chocolate cake mix
- chocolate frosting
- melting chocolate
- cake pop sticks (amzn.to/3bCslam)
- sprinkles (optional)

Don’t have sticks or icing? NO PROBLEM! Make the box cake mix as directed and AS SOON AS IT IS OUT OF OVEN. Cut edges out and put in mixer. The hot steam will help make the cake go into this playdoh state. I mixed for about 2 min on medium speed and rolled into balls. They are so good! I used white choc tempered to dip them and some sprinkles. So freaking good!

I used same chocolate chips but in white and it was transparent on my red velvet pops. They still taste good.

We realize you probably did it on purpose, because hearts should always be transparent. Red velvet cake is often used at valentine to make a heart cake. 🤪

Substitute your oil for the exact amount of butter!! It’ll make it so much more moist and easier to work with! I’ve never gone back

She did not say Starbucks created them, but Starbucks does sell them and they are delicious. So her video is about making cake pops similar to the ones at Starbucks. There cake pops are moist and creamy. Not all cake batter come out like that. So she nailed it with this copy cat Starbucks cake pop
