I bought this circular saw from Japan recycle shop only 15$. There is no battery include. I don't know it work or not that time. After arrived home I tested this saw with my battery, it doesn't work any more. So I decided to make a video with this circular saw.
I hope you find something useful & enjoy this video!
I am happy to receive your feedback, advice, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I apologize for the mistake if I have made in this restoration !!!
**I still keep some parts, I want to save the world's environment**

*This is my second DeWalt circular saw **MyBest.Tools** I sold my 18 volt and use the money to help purchase this 20 volt. Money well spend. I liked that it came with a blade as well.*

I was skepticle of a 20 volt circular saw. But I have several B&D 20 volt batteries and the drill Works great ru-vid.comUgkxjpBI8OOeUXib_iT7UomCrQ-uauwZJ62c . I saw the 4 stars and some glowing reviews so decided to purchase this saw. Well, leave your money in your pocket and run a cord because this little saw won't cut

I have this weird feeling that most of the tools we see getting restored here, are actually staged, intentionally left in mud and water so he can repair It later, a lot of times the tools are full of rust but never shows signs of wearing, my Philips driver has barely any writing left on the sides, with Just 2 years of heavy use. Idk man seems fishy to me

@@DzieXik Problem is, it's not steel, it's not aluminium either. It's cast magnesium (as often with recent tools that are meant to be light and portable). When it breaks, you can't weld it back easily. You need to TIG weld it with argon gas to avoid it catching fire :(

as long as the "glued" spot or part is under constant load, the paste will hold out, any shocks or hard hits could break it easier of course...

You can turn baking soda into caustic soda by heating it. Caustic soda is an excellent cleaning agent, but be very very careful when using it. Use gloves and eye protection in every step of the way!

8:20 backing soda What happens when you put baking soda in hot water? Image result for baking soda + hot water? Baking soda, or sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), is a chemical that can undergo a decomposition reaction when heated. At temperatures above 176 degrees Fahrenheit (80 degrees Celsius), sodium bicarbonate starts to break down into three compounds, forming sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2).

As is often the case in restorations like these, there likely wasn't anything wrong with it, just a loose connection, or one too dirty to get a proper signal. I've found with my own home projects that at least half the time it's just something simple like cleaning it, or making sure all the wires are connected correctly that fixes the issue.

Price of highly skilled labor is too high to be spent on easily replaced tools. Doing one of these is a hobby. Doing a crate full of them is just a lot of work and ultimately boring. And when you're done they're *still* just used tools that won't fetch more than half the price of a cheap Ryobi, new.
