I would like to fully dissect the situation before anyone panics, please. If you have any issues with CORE 4x4 contact them directly and try to get the issue resolve that way first. Bashing a good quality company before giving them a chance is not very respectful. Thank you!

What speeds were you having vibration at? Also was yours just in the rear? Mine shakes really bad in the rear at 65-70mph. Don’t know if this is my problem or not.

Good info! I think you brought up a good point that I didn’t see Spence mention and that’s making sure the Johnny joint is square to the opposite end with the bushing. That would tear the crap out of things in a hurry if you don’t do that 👍

I purchased a set of Core 4x4 control arms for my 2014 Ram after seeing one of your videos; but, my Ram is RWD and I install a 2/4 lowering kit. These will adjust to get the proper pinion angle and recenter the rear-end in the wheel well. I doubt I'll ever be half as rough on my truck on-road as you are off-road....so, I'm hoping they'll last me the life of the truck. Knowing that these control arm are made in the USA and the company stands behind them is worth paying a premium for a premium product. Thanks for your videos/education.

@jasonbarnes5168
@jasonbarnes5168 5 лет назад
I think i may have been the first one with the issue. Spence was shocked at the problem.He was great at helping me and quickly replaced the bushings for me. He and i went over the specs and measurements. I've been doing this shit a long time and I believe my mounts are off. To put on my aftermarket shocks I had to grind off almost 5/16 off one side and a strong 1/8th off the other. I've had the new bushings since October and no new issues. I made double sure on the reinstall that everything was straight and true. including tweaking one of the mounts a little.(Did it on a lift the second time.) First time was laying on the ground in the driveway, when i was out of work with a massive concussion, so something could have been off a little. I know I was. Not much room under a 2" dropped truck. Never once bashed Spence or the arms. I still recommend them to everyone. Those on any of the Ram pages or forums will know that!

Quick question...I ordered a set of t3 arms for my Jeep, installed johnny joints on the axle side and polyurethane body side. The Johnny joints pop when I go over things unevenly or if I'm turning on a hefty incline and it's shifting weight back there. Is this normal? If I look at them, they are no longer "centered" and are kind of "flexed". Sorry for lack of proper explanation, johnny joints are new to me and I only ordered to get the fuel tank bend in the t3 arms.

there are arms that are double rubber bushings arms that are double johnny joints it isn't really that important what side stuff is on. but arms that have rubber on one end and johnny on the other I think the rubber goes to the vehicle side to help with noise and bumps, so it feels less rough in the jeep. that's about the only thing it does.
@HOTDAMN
@HOTDAMN Месяц назад
Rubber goes to the body side because people have an issue with over tightening the axle side. No one uses a torque wrench anymore. Simple just like the video describes, my promo code is still “hot damn” on core4x4s website. Thank you 🙏

Just came across your channel. I’m embarrassed to say I installed a hellwig sway bar and Core 4x4 sway bar links on my 2023 RAM 1500 and I’ve never installed a sway bar or swaybar links. There were no instructions but I did find and install video. Would you mind if I sent you some photos and you could tell me if I did it right? I’ve never used a grease gun either and I’m afraid I put too much grease in.

I just bought the 3rd tier Johnny joint one end only, I assumed the Polly bushing would go axel & Johnny joint to the Frame? I was going to get the 4 tier but thought it might transfer road noise rather then bushing one end, Spence told me to only grease the arms with a grease with 5% min Moly or more? I would definitely grease between axel mount & bushing seems like a no brainer! also these are a different type of bushing I don’t think they need the 200 pounds of torque what the stock require? I’m thinking KBG is correct on the 135 pounds of torque I have faith in Core 4x4 they are a great company & put out a Solid product! Just needs to be maintained as most aftermarket parts do! also most performance parts need to be rebuilt overtime! Owner just needs do diligence & keep your equipment serviced regularly! Neglect = failure!

My factory control arms have a rubber bushing type(flexible). Same with my Jeep, I never had an issue with the cores arms on either one. Rides very nicely.
