In the playlist, in the java.lang section video number 12 is there. You have to watch that video to understand clone() method :) It's been six years that you've commented. Are you working somewhere as a java developer. Please do let me know :)

One correction correct Signature of getClass() method is, public final native Class getClass(). You by mistake missed the native access modifier in the discussion.

If lang package has all basic functionalities.. why do we need to import it for using the method array(import java.lang.reflect)?

Hey! That is because when importing a java package all classes/ interfaces belonging to that package will be available for us to use. BUT not the classes/interfaces belonging to sub-packages. So, if those classes/interfaces needs to be used, you need to include an import statement explicitly for that sub-package. 'reflect' is one such sub-package of java.lang package. So if we need to use array method, then explicit import statement is necessary even though java.lang package is imported by default. So your import statement would look like, import java.lang.reflect.*

Any reason behind on Why wait,notify(),notifyAll() mention in Object class? WHy can't mentioned in Thread class?

because threads call these methods on any java object may be Student,Customer,Employee n so on..... If thread wants to call these methods, compulsory it shd be the owner of that object.

In Java, the object itself is the entity that is shared between threads which allows them to communicate with each other. The threads have no specific knowledge of each other. If wait() and notify() were on the Thread instead then each threads would have to know the status of every other thread. Hence, they are defined in Object class.
