I know exactly what you're talking about one faithful night I went out to stop a projectile if you will and Slipknot came on over the radio grabbing my interest so I stopped and listened and the following weekend I walked around Worcester Boston area and saw them performing now 20 years later I see here with my wife and kids not having a terrible life.

For me it was how much my father loves life. This song saved me, I was in a abusive relationship in 2021, it fucked me up. I was so full of life, i was just the fuckin best, I became something better after 9 years of abuse and cruelty before, I became soemthing beautiful and it was taken from me I spent 2022 and 2023 healing but this song helped me realize and remember who I was, and I was like “fuck….” I’m becoming that girl again :) thank you…. I was lucky enough to be a 11 year old kid when slipknot first hit the scene and I love them for being another band that opened my eyes to music, especially metal. But as for this, it's just wrestling music. It's boring and been done so many times by so many artists and also been done better. This is just safe rock. But thats just my opinion. Dude, this is bad ass.. heard it on the radio today. At first thought it was Stone Sour, stoked that it's something new that you're doing. Honestly sounds like what Rock has been missing lately, thanks for yet ANOTHER amazing band, and song brother. Hoping to hear this live in Toronto!

I don't see how this couldn't have been a stone sour song. Love the song and there are probably reasons he has this new project going so no problem, but I wouldn't say it was "needed" in regards of starting a new band.
