Slipknot may do some of that stuff too. A lot more musicians into satanic ritual stuff, loys of rock stars have talked about how they make the vinyl discs in a ritual room
@@a.ghobrial1092 ...... 😂 Go learn about slipknot first, then we'll talk. That couldn't be anymore wrong, they've said many times they are not satanic. They do not believe in God nor the devil. Also you can watch their studio recordings. The footage is out there and public, theyve recorded in Sound city west, an old timers mansion, their homes in IOWA. They're the nicest dudes out there, I can speak from personal experience. Ive never met nicer musicians, Especially Clown!!
Just FYI, Chester Bennington did not like Ian when they did some shows together apparently. Probably felt something off in his gut, he had been abused himself. So people, please listen to,your gut if someone makes you uncomfortable around your kid(s). It’s not worth the risk, and the possibility later in life of drug abuse and/or suicide to stop the awful suffering.
Couldn't have said it better myself that's honestly the best way to sum up ian Watkins and his crimes "there is not enough pain in the world for that dude"
They did move on And got a new lead singer Geoff Rickly the lead singer From Thursday and formed a new band No Devotion Their debut album Permanence released in 2015 through Collect Records this year in 2021 they signed to Velocity Records and are going to be be releasing a reissue of the album they released back in 2015 their upcoming second album will be released on the same label
Not only did they already move on with No Devotion, but continuing with a name and content that involved a man who they were close to for many years prior and betrayed them by sickeningly abusing others - it would just be too traumatic and depressing for them.
When I first heard their music i fell in love, then since i found out about what happened it I can't even listen to a single note by them without cringing
more updates he actually got tortured for 6 consecutive hours by jail mates and the prison went on lockdown after hearing watkins screaming for his life being brutally tortured
@Christopher Bingham I’m a bit late to the party but I met him when I was a kid and I don’t remember much but my mother said he’s one of the most down to earth people around.
@@chrishandsome4267 still he only makes up 20% of the band. Plus I'm tired of cancel culture and boycotting everything. Even if this particular case is beyond just.
I was at that tour. In Dublin, lost prophets got so much abuse and watkins got hit by a bottle and a shoe. A month later they were on the cover of Metal Hammer saying Dublin was their worst show ever. I was proud at the time but more so now.
@@lildeezn I also just tries googling 'lostprophets dublin 2004' if you click 'boards.ie' it's an old Irish message board someone goes on a rant about how they were treated and how wrong it was... oops lol but they go into detail about how awful the crowd was to them :-)
Dear God, the disgusting atrocities that Ian has done… Look, I believe that it is possible to separate art from the artist and enjoy things that are made by horrible, sociopathic monsters. For instance, I still like to listen to Gary Glitter songs on the super rare occasions they’re played on the radio; I enjoy watching clips from the Cosby Show every now and then because it’s still a really fun, heartwarming experience if you’re willing to turn your brain off for a little while; I even sometimes like to look at some of the Sonichu comics for a good laugh, allowing myself to temporarily forget about what happened to its creator. But with Ian Watkins and the Lostprophets… I’m sorry man… I just can’t. I don’t think I’ve listen to a single song by the band since I first heard about Ian’s arrest. As much as I used to really love Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcasts), just hearing the first few notes of the opening guitar riff makes me sick nowadays. There is no force on earth that can make me forget what I read and heard in the days following Ian’s arrest, all with confirmation and evidence from investigates that they were all true… and that there was even more. So what I’m trying to say is Ian Watkins is such an abhorrent POS that he is, for me, the one exception to the rule of art =/= artist.
i wonder if anyone realizes, that the psychologist responsible for the insane idea that kids are born gay committed many of these atrocities, including sex with four month olds, to try to prove kids are born gay. which they definately are not
@@fingersmcoy Let me guess? People simply choose to be non-heterosexual because of those evil cultural Marxists and Satanic liberal media, correct? Especially in cultures where being anything than 100% straight is considered a punishable offense or socially unacceptable, right? And they could totally stop being gay or bisexual or asexual or whatever with enough brainwash- I mean therapy and counseling; as if that hasn’t been proven to be mostly ineffective and more than occasionally result in suicide or severe depression.
@@fingersmcoy If you want to go after LGBT individuals and insist that they just need to learn to stop being so “degenerate” and “dangerous to our society”, then you have to go through people on the autism spectrum like myself. Are you ready to tell me that neurodivergence shouldn’t be deemed socially acceptable, that I chose to have Aspergers and ADHD because of my moderately left-wing parents, and that my condition can be cured with enough correction therapy and some “good ole fashioned discipline”? I personally fail to see a difference between sexuality diversity and neurodiversity, but if you do, I fully welcome you to explain your reasoning.
@@ThereAreThoseWhoCallMeTim because our Lord stated that a man having sex with another man in an abomination. Because people naturally feel disgust for said activity, unless they are brainwashed at a young age to accept it. Maybe you should do some research on the guy who was doing his own research about kids and sexuality. Read about the atrocities he did to prove his disgusting points. Homosexuality is a perverse, sinful thing.
@@bmth2111 he's serving a whole life term and that means he's never getting out he's deemed to dangerous to society. He's one of the first people in the UK to get a life term for a non murder
Damn, I saw the three bands in 2004 in Germany. People were not to interested in lostprophets. The scumbag singer mocking the audience for not reacting properly to their show didn't help :D
I'm not a slipknot fan myself, but I respect corey. My husband is a slipknot fan, since he was a kid and he watched a lot of interviews and corey Taylor just seems like a very genuinely humble human being
Their music wasn't bad it's just hard to listen to it when knowing what the lead singer did. I only found out about them through Savox's 7 of the most evil musicians video and not hearing their music prior and knowing what Ian did I just can't listen to them. People can still like the band and their songs as long as they don't support Ian.
I wish they could re record the first 2 albums with a new singer. But that's probally gonna bring up some bittersweet memories. Probally too hard on the band members
New punishment idea!! Strap ian too a pole on a slipknot stage and let them torture the hell outta him throughout the set. Especially clown and sid!! 😈
I can't wait to see What would think Cartoon characters like SpongeBob SquarePants, Aang, Finn The Human, Twilight Sparkle, Dipper and Mabel Pines, Steven Universe and Lincoln Loud about Lostprophets/Ian Watkins.
Well, I just feel bad for the other members. they didn't deserve to be associated with the crimes they have not committed. People should cringe when they hear "Ian Watkins", not "Lostprophets". Even though it's understandable that the band's name is more popular than the singer's name.
Even though Corey is in a metal band he still has brains and isn’t stupid like that guy What I’m saying when you are in bands like that you can’t go overboard and f*** your life up
I kept hearing how upset people are they can't enjoy their music anymore because of Ian "baby" Watkins, so I checked out some songs of theirs and I'm not sure it's that big a loss. I mean, they were okay, I feel like I'd have liked them more as a young teen rather than an adult, but there are way better bands with way less baby f*ckers out there to enjoy.
Etymologically, the word "dis" comes from the word disrespect, as in, disrespecting another's reputation, character, or values. Ian has none of the aforementioned of any value, inherent or to the world, whatsoever. Corey was just spitting facts. That's not a dis.
@@christopherbingham5092 so what your all saying is your perfectly ok listening to the songs that utter nonce eeeks out of his disgusting face? Sorry I used to like them, when I found out I burned the damn albums and promised to never listen to them again - the band mates must have known something - that blue peter style music video was so out of place I questioned why they did it - I found it weird, then the truth came out and it now has a seriously disturbing reason for existing - it better not still be on you tube and people better not listen to it, unless they are ok with what the video means in his eyes. Just sick.
Yeah people like Corey who spit shit about other people always have some deep dark narcissistic issues of their own that they can't handle (drugs alcohol abuse)..is always the obvious excuse.
Corey was victim of sexual abuse as a young guy and Ian was (and still is) a sadistic sexual predator on babies and children. I think Corey has more than a right to talk lowly about him.
