@JoshLikesMetal dude this song is not the reason Paul Gray is dead. Slipknot isn't the reason Paul Gray is dead. If I was to say anything I think Slipknot prolonged his life and gave him something to focus on and prolong his life. He had drug problems. A lot of them stemming from his childhood in LA. You can't fucking say playing a song that promotes killing people is the reason Paul Gray is dead. Are you a fucking simpleton or what? And for the record the song doesn't fucking promote killing people. It's a comment, a stylized point of view of murders and militaristic governments. .Stop talking shit
There's something nostalgic & special about the friendship/relationship between Carrie & Corey.. The fact they've known eachother since the earliest Slipknot days and here they are today, nothing has changed. It's very special, I almost feel like they were meant for eachother in a way.. Love this interview, might be the best interview ever.
WAIT, this is the chick who did an interview during selftitled( the one where sid was talking alien and mick said he eats his own waste) and during subliminal verses (the one where jim kept getting the camera down her shirt and Joey was getting mad no one else was taking it seriously), that's freaking crazy!
I love how Slipknot always changed but never lost its identity. "I know people don't like it, and I don't care." is basically what makes this band so great.
Best Kinda Mess , if you stop drinking, smoking and doing drugs, slows the aging process down a bit. The stoping smoking is why his voice is way better than the .5 tour.
That's exactly what I thought. It looks like a drowning victim who wasnt found for a while. I hate it as much as I love it. He really achieved what he wanted to achieve. From some angles it doesn't look too bad and then other angles it makes me really uncomfortable. Pretty cool.
@@thedominator87 first time i saw his full rig was on youtube, i was coming down on shrooms and i was like damn he got fat, then i realized he was dressed frumpy and the mask has jowls. i obsessed over it for hours just staring at pics of it, intentionally making myself uncomfortable just because. it looks to me like a prosthetic face with an unexplainable emotion. fucking beautiful.

Just fucking imagine all of the songs that we HAVEN'T heard from them. The little smirk he had on his face when she first bought up those vaulted tracks made my mind race. Hopefully we're all fortunate to hear them one day 😭
Only two steps away from butt gravy should legitimately be the next line of shirts they put out. This isn’t a joke, I will pay actual human dollars for this
BUTT GRAVY!! 😂I love this man and this band. They are just a bunch of down to earth dudes that are hella fuckin talented! Never be ashamed of who your are, what you've become and where you came from. I thank all these dudes for what they do. The new album is epic!😚👌
The relationship they have is awesome to watch. I didn't even know that she was the one from the interview where Sid first spoke in his alien language, so that absolutely blew my mind
True! I used to laugh at the whole Slipknot thing and went just to see Behemoth and Gojira, BUT Slipknot blew me away with the entertainment factor, attitude and sheer catchy choruses! I'm incredibly impressed with the new album and definitely a convert!
Bro that other mask hes talking about is at the HARD ROCK LAS VEGAS BABY!! I was there on vacay and I was on the same floor where the slipknot display was
@@36cfrocksmysox123455 I just tried looking it up and I think you're right. I knew they had a little Slipknot display at Foxwoods, seemed to be from Iowa era, but there's some question to it's validity. The plaque says it's from "Disasterpieces". There's a jumpsuit that looks to be from Iowa era, a mask that looks sorta like the debut album mask (did Corey still wear that same mask during Iowa? Can't remember) but they don't appear to have been used tho. Ppl online say it's just a back up mask.
I agree with Corey on about people that weren't slipknot fans before are coming back around with this new album. My brother when he was 13 used to play slipknot all the time in front of my mom. And my mom didn't like Corey's voice but she liked the music behind it. Now that I'm a newish slipknot fan (I came around the .5 era) I'm just like my brother playing slipknot whenever I get a chance. And when WANYK came out I showed my mom and she slowly became a fan. When I went to knotfest with my family she enjoyed the hell out of it
"Just the thought and smell of Jaeger will keep me sober for another 10 years" I completely understand. The smell & thought of both Jaeger and Vodka will keep me sober. *shudders*
5 years sober from booze and fucking gag every time I use hand sanitizer. During Covid those “aloe” sanitizers that smell like straight tequila got me gagging up mild bile several times in grocery store parking lots. For years I was that bastard who hit sun warmed car seat vodka at 8AM and quit when I’d pass out or physically couldn’t swallow liquid anymore
Obviously, he means it's absolutely in the ethos and attitude, ideals, concept etc of what the band is supposed to be, while the end result sounds different than most of what they put out.
I like how Mistress Carrie inched closer at the beginning and snuck a touch in. I believe she's single now. I haven't listened to WAAF in a while. I just hear "hungry eyes" they way she looks at him. Eh, I probably would too. Cool dude.
Gotta admit. I wasn’t the biggest slipknot fan. Actually I hardly ever listened to them. But this album is literally on my top favorites. Well fuckin done boys 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Corey and Carrie doesn't age at all .Wow !!!! She's frickin Gorgeous 😍 and Corey don't look like he's in his 40's . I thought the new Slipknot album kicked ass I own all their CDs that's one of their best albums despite not having Paul ,Joey , Chris they released since Iowa & still fuckin' digged it.
I saw Mudvayne when they just released that opening for Ozzy.... It`s a great song to hear live for sure and Cory could probably sing it better than them at this point..... Does Slipknot like them or did they think they were copying?
