Thank You Martin! I'm not on that Dare's DInky money so I couldn't afford the licencing to play 'Space Oddity', so I had to swipe the music from Sonic the Hedgehog. No one's noticed yet lol.
Thank you Scott, I'm finally getting the hang of printing higher res tiny fonts and things. If you need a set I have some left over if you can use them, just zap me an email 😊
Happy Australia Day, PB! 🇦🇺 That was a great resto-mod......she came out really smart 👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻 I think I need to think about getting a LaserJet ........ and a 3d printer........ and a vac former....... GAWD! 😖
Thank you! I have access to a friends LaserJet, I could never afford one myself. I've seen some home made vac formers, that would be handy for window units.
This looks fantastic Peter, amazing decals ,nice paint work and this tested your patience for sure .top job ,got one too ,need to restore one .cheers Laz
Hi Mate that is some great custom work.I use paint pens under a magnifying glass on a grip stand for fine work and a fine thread cutter to screw the bases back on tight. The long boxes have radiators in them and the two square ones have the heads of Moffat and Brock in them placed there by Leo Geoghegan.
First up, mentioning the great Leo Geoghegan automatically earns you life membership to my channel 😁 I usually tap threads on my projects, but it was a bit shallow on this one, and I was in the zone to finish it, so I cheated with glue this time. I met Leo once at the QLD Chrysler Expo once, he was a nice guy, signed a pic of his VG Pacer for me.
Awesome! Realy cool pickup with boxes😎. Judging from the part numbers on the boxes there's two sets of chrysler valiant forged pistons with rings and two sets of premium gaskets on these same valiant charger engines
Good work mate. Came out superb. I always wanted a charger. I could got one back in the late 80s for $1500. Mayb one-day. My son keen for one too. Cheers Graham.
@@PBsRetroRestorations I love trading post. I used to line up outside the newsagent at 5am with half a dozen other guys. In the last year of the post, U call wanting to buy something and they tell you it's really sold and then you keep talking to you then and find out it sold the day before paper came out. Turn out after I call the post, as the buyer U could pay to get the information on Tuesday. I still remember looking at a xb 2 door for $500 and my father didn't get out of the car. He said it fu#k. The boot lip was rusty. He drove off, I had one leg out of the car. Lol. Miss those days 😔
Super work, PB. One of those boxes had to be full of ballast resistors. I learned to carry a spare in the glove box. I had a 4-door Plymouth Valiant. It was not as sexy as the Valiant Charger, that's for sure.
Mayb captain Australia was off trying help Warwick Capper finished the movie. "Yobbos Up The Guts" the movie went pear-shaped after Warwick Capper punched out the director. I believe the director was a drunken Russian guy.
Tony Martin used to talk about that movie on his radio show 'Get This', sounds like it was a disaster from start to finish. Mrs. PB met Capper once, and he's as loose in real life as he is on the telly.
@@PBsRetroRestorations I use to listen Tony Martin. That was a great radio show. He always talked about that movie, plus Capper porn movie he made. I saw a few minutes of Capper and his family when he was playing football. All I can say is L on his forehead. Lol.
Thank you! Can you please email me at pbsretrorestorations@gmail.com about the donation, I replied in the original post but it probably went under the radar, my apologies.
