wow - so how did it turn out! intuitively it looks like you should rotate the model 180 degrees (upside down) and then put in a bot of support for the leaves - you can do this dynamically in meshmixer, or use a slicer like Cura and then all should be well. I have been surprised how well revit produces models that can be printed - though my normal workflow is from revit to 123DDesign and then stl into a slicer. The world of 3D printing will be awesome with you in it :) Love the modelling series.

First attempt was not good. I am going to try again rotating 180 as you suggest and with some support material. I am new at this 3D printing, so still have a lot to learn! Thanks.

Paul Aubin video the result - the car crash ones are always worth watching. pop up the STL if you want others to have a go - happy to try and print it and see what works!
