The merry-go-round examples helps so much! After watching this, i was about to ask how this works with an object “thrown” directly from east to west or vice versa, but i was able to figure it out by picturing the child at the edge of the merry-go-round throwing the ball not towards or away from the center, but to another point of the edge of the merry go round.

I will be very honest ..I hardy write any comments to videos , just usually like them.But the explanation in this video made me write comment. Before watching this video I watched a few about the same topic but could not get as good an understanding as I got from this video.
