Thanks. It was such a surreal night with everyone out to watch the water rising and very little anyone could do...And, funnily enough, quite a good way to meet some of the neighbours. Funny what brings a community together
@janepaperplane Couldn't agree more, we spoke to people we had lived beside for months and had never spoke to before that! Our house came within inches of being flooded, unfortunately the car wasn't so lucky :( In spite of all the negitives about the flooding, I actually have very fond memories of that night and the following day!
