The national anthem was amazing in this, so many legends of the game. The man who sang this was amazing. So old school, Donal O’Grady got one over Brian Cody here.
1:30:35, coming from a Kilkenny man, that's a sight I like about the GAA. The supporters from the losing side cheer for their heroes as well despite losing. You can only see moments like that in the GAA.
Michael Kavanagh, Noel Hickey, Tommy Walsh, JJ Delaney, Derek Lyng, James 'Cha' Fitzpatrick, Eddie Brennan, Henry Shefflin, DJ Carey, Martin Comerford. Cork were extra vigilant not to leave another all ireland slip on them in 2004. The players I listed from that days final are easily the greatest players to ever wear the black and amber. That Cork team had exceptional players my favorite being Ben O'Conner who had the game of his life in the 2005 all ireland against Galway.
Michael Duignan loved that dirty Kilkenny team so much. Always making excuses for them. And to his shame he's an Offaly man. I always felt that Cork half-back line of Gardiner, Curran and O'Halpin was the best I've ever seen.
In 2021 Cork beat Kilkenny lol and by doing so Kilkenny dodged a bullet in the final v Limerick at the high of their powers who would have beaten who ever was in the final, out the gate
Killkenny finished that great Cork team in 2006..they never recovered from that defete ..going 19 years nx year 2024 and never won a National League or all ireland since😢@paddy Sullivan VHS 📼 1990s Cork 😢😢
