Only remove the leaves if the corn husks are fully grown otherwise it will stunt the corns. I tried few yrs ago cutting the leaves shorter and that was a big fail.
@@dexterborja1105 In a early stage it would be to let the corn grow more healthy and big , cos lest leave means the plant gives more benefit to the fruit in this case the corn . Not in this case because it is ready to harvest won’t grow anymore then what already is

It is not removing, it's taking corn leaves to feed cattle. I used to do it. But anyways it is beautiful, I saw corn plantation, asian taking food for cattle and sweet potatoes growing in the soil.
The corns are in the stage of mature no more needed the leaves the corn kernels will gain more nutrients to grow after remove the leaves of course the leaves will go to the cows excellent food for them Thank you so much 🥰 🙏
These maize 🌽 cobs are already fully grown and already started bending down so, removing bottom green leaves must be for other purposes perhaps feeding animals

Why in pakistan this sistum is un used becaus by this tipe of harwesting we can use old leaves for green fooder and also make space for vegetebles in ground
Because in Pakistan we grow corn on big land and its required lots of labour. So our farmers let corn grow fully on plant and then harvest cons and same time we can feed to our animals. To chop up lief you must know what time to chop it otherwise you will get less weight of corn 🌽
