Follow along, as we Plant our 2023 crop of corn! We utilize our Deutz-Allis 7110 tractor and the Deutz-Allis 385 planter to get the job done, and they did great!

Also, yeah, it's always hard to see the marker when running no till. One of the downsides.

Nice, I have a Landoll Quadra planter which is basically the same as the Deutz with a Dickey John 300 monitor. It would be interesting to see a video of what kind of repairs or fixes you did to get your planter up and running nicely.

I grew up in Illinois and never seen anyone plant corn in a grassy field, always been disked the fall before. Does the grass inhibit bugs or shade the corn sprouts? Any benefits or just something you do in your area?

The plants already in the field are triticale, this is the first year we’re using it as a cover crop. It will get a burn down spray as well. This helps with weed prevention and adding nitrogen in the soil.

Just being curious. But which Ohio ag do u deal with in Ohio???? I as well run some of the agco allis tractors with the air cold motors and older equipment and our Ohio ag dealers near me do not work or do not even wanna try to work on an older equipment... basically if it's not a fendt or anything that's with in 10yrs of age they basically hang up there phone so I'm very curious which one u deal with??.
